I have used just the red filter (so I can't comment on the close up filter) and I really like it. I feel like its most effective between 20 to 60 feet. I put it on the camera when I go diving in the ocean regardless though. I like the fact that it is a screw on filter/mount. This allows me to attech other filters that were not necessarily made for small action cameras when I am not diving. I have been scuba diving with this filter/mount on my action cam for the past 6 month or so and the only signes visible that it was in the ocean, are the small screws that hold the mount to the camera housing are showing small signes of rust. Nothing major so I am more than comfortable keep diving with it.

The lens works great for getting close up clear video that the normal lens won't focus on. My only complaint is that it has to be attached via waterproof case an this results is muffled sound an loud banging every time you touch that case unless using a microphone separate from the camera as the yi4k external port for mics is pretty impossible to find the right adapter.

I dont feel like these lenses did anything for our action camera. The red lenses that is supposed to enhance underwater photos didnt enhance anything, it just turned everything red so all out photos were garbage. I also think the way it mounts onto the waterproof case messed with the waterproofing and allowed water to get inside of the case.... in doing so destroying our camera. Now we have to buy a new action camera...

Fits my Suptig case for Yi 4K+ perfectly (though my case leaked, so I'll be getting the OEM Yi case!). The design of this is great, so you can add whatever 52 mm off the shelf lens accessory you want! You can swap in a polarizer for land use or use the red filter or a wide angle lens! The screw adjustment gives it a wide range for fitment with various cases. The glass lens is great too, since the plastic ones scratch so easily compared to the plastic ones.

Haven't had a chance to test the lenses underwater yet, but the installation of the ring was very easy to do as long as you have a screwdriver lying around. The red filter and magnifying lens fit very well on top. Wish the lenses came with a hole to attach a tie to the Yi so it doesn't get lost.

Red filter works well and HD macro is clear if used with it. As with any filter(s), -always- unscrew, let air bubbles out and screw back on after you're underwater.

Used this product for underwater diving up to 45ft. The red filter was easy to use and remove. The plastic protective storage case was especially handy. Pictures turned out beautiful. Great purchase!!

We bought this before a dive trip to Hawaii, and this lens did a wonderful job in color correction and capturing macro pelagic animals.Would definitely recommend.
