8 in 1 Repair Opening Pry Tools Screwdriver Kit Set for iPhone SE / 6s / 6s Plus / 6/6 Plus / 5S / 5 / 4S / 4 / 3G / iPod Touch for Samsung

I bought this set because I bought a screen replacement set and the screwdriver from there was so cheap it chiseled down midway through the process. Well this one was even WORSE! Screwdriver chiseled down after only ONE screw and that was it. NOT WORTH EVEN A DOLLAR

This kit does what it's supposed to do. I was able to take apart my kid's iPhone SE, no problem. The toughest part is trying to get the glass to come off--but the little suction cup and guitar pick looking things in the kit did their jobs just fine, and with a bit of patience, I got the screen to come off. This kit was inexpensive; I figured if it didn't work, I wouldn't lose that much money. I'm glad I got it. Who knows when I'll need it again? But if/when I do, it'll be good to have!I recommend this kit--it's cheap, and handy!

Well this does the job for me anyway . I use it to remove the bottom cover of my laptop as now Amazon has had me return about 5 m.2 hard drives to get a lower price vs, price matching it "We do not price match it but you have 30 days to return it " I cant be mad about that I am sure they are tired of getting returns from me as i am giving them the only difference is i spend the time using these tools unscrewing the 11 torque screws , the using the pry tools and carefully undoing all the clips , next i have to clone my oem 256gb drive to the larger 1 i purchased well this takes about 1 hour each time if not more so if time is money i am owed about 500$ Best Buy charges 100$ just to remove the bottom cover and another to install windows . I go 1 step further and install everything, all your drivers , partitions ,software , programs , pictures, music ,. I mean everything so you could not even tell it was touched . If it was not for these tools the cover would have never come off the 1rst time . Also though be careful as these break easily the guitar pick looking ones are the best i broke the skinny pole with a bent smooth edge in 2 seconds . 1rst you have to find a place where you can start to pop the 1rst clip if you can not do that these will NOT help as they need some space to fit in then you just stick it in and wiggle it up and down gently until you hear the next clip pop off and keep moving until cover is off . Same goes with phones but they use silicone so you may need a heat gun i rec. trying a good hair dryer 1rst as to not melt the phone

Cheapest tool available, got the job done but alas the main board was damaged and the phone was uneconomical to repair. I picked up a great refurb for $90. Came with the fine drivers needed to open the phone, deal witht he vvvery very tiny cross point screws on the interior and the suction cup and plastic pics worked as promised. Most cheap battery replacement kits come with these tools, which likely won't last all that long. If your planning on doing lots of phone repairs as a sideline you'll want higher quality tools. for the one time replacement of a battery or a possible resuce of a wet phone, these worked fine and arrived quickly

I watched a video, it was pretty simple really. Do not use the metal screwdriver to pry. I was extremely gentle, the next thing I knew, there was a hissing sound followed by a lot of smoke and a fireball. I sent the whole mess right out the front door. Luckily, that was the phone that I was borrowing parts from. To change the screen from start to finish took me maybe three minutes. The tools worked great except for the plastic prying tools were a little weak which is why I was using the metal screwdriver. For the screen, I didn’t really even need the prying tools because the suction cup really did a nice job. Nice tools, I would buy them again.Watch the battery, even if your good with tools.

I used the kit to open a Lenovo E485 laptop and add a stick of memory for a lot less than Lenovo wanted. the tools seem well-made and did the job. I was afraid to buy a cheepo kit on Ebay and I was totally happy with this kit.

Was using to replace battery in iPod, and one of the tools broke within seconds of trying to take the back apart from the face.

This set of tools would not remove the screws from my ZUNE MP3 Player. I had to take it to a cell phone repair shop for help. Very frustrating for me.
