Can you give 10 stars? My 3 year old, $300+ dollar FitBit watch died after it got wet (must have gotten a crack somewhere). Anyway, as someone who exercises a lot I wanted another smart watch but this time hopefully a bit nicer looking than the old square FitBit Sense 2. I thought 'For $99 let's try it, I can return if I don't like it.'Ordered it at 10:00 pm the day my watch died, next morning at 7:00 it was here and I was wearing it by 7:30. Just wow, wow, wow. So much better than my FitBit at 1/3rd the price. What I like better: * 14 day battery life - that is legitimate - if you are just wearing (not tracking exercises, etc.) it will last at least 10 days, but usually about 2 weeks. * When tracking an exercise activity - gives me more data, easier to read data, and overall does a better job than my fitbit * Nicer looking - Round instead of square, lots of nice looking standard watch faces - in fact, it looks like a real watch with some of the faces * Stays connected to my Google Pixel - My FitBit did this OK, but regularly it would disconnect from the phone and then you couldn't see weather, it wouldn't update data online to read, etc. This watch, I think it has disconnected maybe once since I purchased it * Charged from 8% to 100% in just over an hour * So many additional options around tracking sleep, taking breaks, tracking oxygen, etc. * My FitBit said 'You got 4 hours of sleep' every day - even though I went to bed at 10:00 and got up at 6:00. I thought I must not sleep well. First night, this one capture 6.8 hours or something - seemed much more accurate * Have not tried to actually make or receive calls on it, but it does let me know when my phone is receiving a call * Can download and play podcasts and music from the watch * Very accurate when tracking a route - I mountain bike, it is always within a half mile of what my bike says mileage ridden after a 15 mile ride So, you can get a square FitBit that looks like a workout watch and spend $250. You can spend $500 or more for an Apple watch - and what if you are an Android user, Apple watch still works, but can't really connect well to my phone. Or, you can get one of these for $99, get as much and more functionality than a FitBit and about the same functionality as an Apple watch. And, for $99, you could buy one for a friend and still save money. The only thing I see is that is not the end of the world. My FitBit would do a good job of tracking steps that maybe weren't actual steps - like when mountain biking, building trails, I always was over 10,000 steps. First day with this watch I figured out - it only tracks steps - so my numbers hover at 5,000 to 6,000 now for steps taken. This is more accurate but I do miss the big numbers! Looking for an easy to use, full functional, smart watch - $99 gets you and awful lot. had I paid $199 I would still be writing the same review. They did not pay me to write this. Today, after I had it charge from 8% to 100% in just over an hour, I thought the seller/manufacturer deserved the review.

I'm really enjoying this watch. I'm pleasantly surprised with the Zepo app. It has a lot of metrics that I've found useful. I recently had surgery, and it's been interesting to see how my sleep and activity were affected and to watch my scores begin to return to normal. Also, because I'm trying to eat more protein to help with healing, the app makes it easy to track my macros. The battery life is great. It typically lasts about a week or 8 days, but if I track a lot of exercise, I do have to charge a day or two sooner. I have a small wrist, and it doesn't overwhelm my wrist and look ridiculous, but it's large enough to be easy to use the screen. I used to have a Tic watch, which they stopped making,but it stopped charging after a few years. I did look at other Google OS watches, but I couldn't find one that had as many features as the Amazfit Active 2 for about the same price. I also really prefer not to have to charge it as frequently. The ecosystem isn't quite as rich as the Google os, but I miss very little. And since I bought it during the Prime sale, I was pleased with the price. The watch looks good, and there are a lot of alternative straps available (I wasn't a fan of the straps that came with the watch). I compared heart rate, respiration, and oxygen saturation using a finger pulse-ox meter, and the watch matched up almost perfectly. The one thing that I found strange is that the watch will sometimes think I'm napping when I'm just sitting quietly and reading. That's a little annoying. Overall, I really like the watch and would recommend it.

Great price, lots of bells and whistles, but I got this mainly for its water resistance and long lasting battery. I mostly use just as a watch and pedometer, and a single charge lasts 11 or 12 days. As a pedometer/step tracker, I find it very reliable. The screen quality seems to be nice. I believe it to be durable, Im a nurse and live on a farm, and neither vocation has caused any damage or e en scratched rhe watchface, even curring thick brush. Price point is "amaz"ing..Great product with many options at a very affordable price. Leather band provides secure fit. No regrets with this purchase so far, and have been wearing daily for almost 3 mos.

If you're an iPhone user but don't really care for the techy, gadgety look of the Apple Watch, The Amazfit Active series is a good alternative. It's lightweight, it's a slim, timeless design (no pun intended) and uses standard, easily swappable watch bands. It's a classic look that I enjoy. I purchased the Active 2 Premium Round, which comes with 2 bands: a leather band and a silicone band, and allegedly has sapphire glass instead of tempered. Now, this watch is first and foremost a fitness tracker. As I am not a whey protein guzzling gym bro, I cannot speak about the fitness features with much authority. The thing throws words at me like HYROX, VO2 MAX, Hybrid Charge, and my eyes just glaze over. There are plenty (maybe too many) YouTube videos that explain all that, but I'll stick to the features I actually use and understand. Pros: The battery lasts for DAYS on a single charge. Maybe over a full week if you keep the brightness lower. So with the longer battery life (unlike some watches), you can actually use the sleep tracking feature! There is an always-on display option, but it cuts your battery life to about 2 days in my experience. The screen is bright and colorful. It's not the brightest on the market, but sufficient. Good contrast. The "raise to view" function works every time. (I've had watches previously that would fail at this basic function.) Phone notifications come through instantly. You can take calls on your watch. Not really something I care about, but I suppose it's a good feature to have. All your health telemetry syncs with Apple Health app, so step count, heart rate, sleep quality, and much more shows up as expected. The watch autodetects workouts and syncs with other Fitness apps like Strava. I'm a cyclist and use Strava to track rides, and to my surprise, it populates your activities into Strava with little to no interaction required. The somewhat smaller 44mm watch face doesn't look completely stupid on my smaller wrists. I'm a male, but not every male has tree trunk arms, and this size watch fits me perfectly. Cons: You cannot reply to text messages on iPhone. That's not Amazfit's fault, that's just Apple's walled garden. But don't be fooled. I've seen posts saying there are workarounds - there are not. You CAN use a third party app to reply to FACEBOOK or WHATSAPP messages, but there is nothing that works specifically with Apple's Messages app. The UI could use some improvements and polish, and some of the controls are inconsistent. What I would call the "home" button does not work universally in all apps which can make navigating menus and apps a bit confusing. This model does not have wifi. So syncing data (apps, watch faces, etc) is done over Bluetooth so it does take much longer. There is a built-in AI assistant. I do not use it nor want it. I would prefer if there was an option to disable it completely. It isn't too intrusive, but it does show up on notifications. Conclusion: Is it a 1:1 replacement for the functionality of the Apple Watch? No.. Does it supply enough functionality to replace the Apple watch to my personal satisfaction? Yes. And for the price, the Amazfit brand is probably the absolute best value watch on the market. I recommend the watch if you fall into the slender category of people that prefer iPhone but also prefer an alternative to the (subjectively) ugly Apple Watch. And if you happen to also appreciate the plethora of fitness tracking features, well that's just gravy.

Amazing. No play on words intended. This is my unicorn smartwatch. It is NOT as advanced a device as an Apple, Samsung, or Google watch... but it does ALL the important stuff. And MOST of the not important stuff too. Talk to text? Yep. And with surprisingly good syntax and grammar. On wrist phone calls? Yessir. I'm occasionally that annoying Dick Tracy dude at work now. Music? If you really must, it's an available feature. All the basic fitness and health monitoring? Yep. Lots of advanced fitness and health monitoring? You bet. GPS? Yes, but I'd call it good, not fantastic. Maps? Ditto. Weather? Sure. Works just swimmingly. Can I update watch faces? Yes, ESPECIALLY through third party apps or with ones you make yourself. Good battery life? Definitely. This gets better life than my old Bip 5. And it was no slouch. Games and such? Yes, if you're that masochistic to do that on this small of a screen. I got the premium model, mainly for the more durable sapphire screen, and I got a leather band I'll never use and NFC as bonuses. The band's easy enough to swap out for any standard 20mm watch band. And NFC is nice. I'll likely never use it, but still nice. The AMOLED screen looks great and bright, its speaker is surprisingly loud with calls and whatnot, the mic is pretty good, and everything on screen has been easy to read. Notifications are instant. And the Zepp app is easy peasy. I got this RIGHT after the Active 3 came out, and I ALMOST got that one, but for one consideration... the Active 3 is VERY noticeably thicker. It's a chonky boi. And they don't make a diet model of it. So I got this one. My third Amazfit watch. Still very satisfied. You can't beat this for the price. Recommended.

I bought this specifically to have strong vibrating alerts on my wrist because I was missing them with my phone in my pocket. With the adjustable settings and ability to create custom vibration patterns, it works great. My last smart watch was a galaxy watch 6, and this blows that away. Battery life is amazing, connectivity works great, the Zep app is fine. For the price, can't be beat. The internal storage is a bit small, so if you want to load a bunch of music on it instead of streaming, I would spend the extra money on the active 3. If I had researched a little better, I probably would have, but since I don't need the extra storage, I'm happy with this.

The TL:DR version: There’s a lot to like about the Amazfit Active 2 Premium smart watch, but I wouldn’t buy it again nor can I recommend it due to the cons I list below. Pros: 1. The watch face that it defaults to (featured in the Amazon display) is very stylish and pleasing to look at. Overall, it’s a smart-looking watch. And if you don’t like it, there are many free faces you can switch to. 2. There is so much data that you are offered free with the Zepp app; enough to satisfy (probably) all data-junkies. 3. There are helpful descriptions of the data so one can understand whether a particular stat is meaningful or not for them. 4. It’s very customizable. 5. The display is bright enough in all but the most direct sunlight so it can be seen in just about every condition. 6. The GPS/mapping feature is fantastic. It seems to come loaded with maps (I never downloaded any as far as I know) that are easy to read and detailed, and it very accurately tracks location and maps movement. Note that it is much easier to see the map on the phone than on the smart watch. 7. Overall, it’s easy to use, except for the caveat I note in the cons. Cons: 1. My biggest problem with the watch is that it is not accurate with respect to mileage. I tested it on trails with mile markers and with my old Garmin which has been accurate based on extensive use and verification. It can be off by as much as a half mile on a 4 – 5-mile hike. 2. With moderate use and not using features that would drain battery life fast (such as having an always-on display, displaying bright all the time, and have heart rate updated every minute), I only get 6 – 7 days of use before I have to recharge it. Not terrible but far less than my Garmin and Amazfit’s description of up to (and I get that it’s “up to”) 10 days. 3. While the watch itself is supposed to be water resistant (I haven’t tested this), the band it comes with is not. They do provide an extra plastic sport band (which should be water resistant) but despite ordering the black version, only a red sport band is provided. I reached out to both Amazfit and Amazon and neither is willing to exchange the red for a black one. I would have to buy a black band on my own. 4. As noted, it’s easy to use but in order to get to many features, you need to drill down many menus. This is both on the device itself and the phone. And due to small type face, it can be hard to see some of the data. 5. The menu interface is loaded with icons that are small and not always intuitive as to what data they will reveal. You can customize them as to where they are placed but I don’t believe you can have text descriptions in lieu of the icons. 6. With so many features and ways to customize, a manual would be nice but I couldn’t find any anywhere, including Amazfit’s website. Without one, a lot of trial and error is necessary to understand and use much of what it has to offer. 7. The Zepp app will not load on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, which is a real disappointment. I prefer its larger 10” display to my 6” phone. Maybe the Tab is too old a device for the app but it has been running everything else, including my Garmin Connect. It’s feature-rich and well-priced, so I won’t be returning the device but I am dissatisfied. Time will tell whether it lasts.

I was surprised to find I actually love this watch. I’ve got a modest watch collection of Hamiltons, Seikos and Orients but the Amazfit has become my daily wearer. The size is perfect and it’s super comfortable because of its light weight. It also doesn’t look cheap—physical quality is way beyond its price. In terms of battery I turn off the sleep tracking and HR monitoring because I just don’t use it. With those two settings off (and AOD off) I get 7-10 days of battery, basically just using it as a smart watch. I am a cyclist and have used it for recording rides—it does this well, but the GPS battery drain is high. Maybe 20-25% for a 90 minute ride. Surprisingly when took it for a long backpacking weekend the battery did much better. For three 6 hour hikes, the battery drained about 40% each. That was better than I expected, and included using the mapping/route features along with HR data. Speaking of routes, the backpacking and cycling routes worked surprisingly very very well, with the maps sharp and crisp and spot on with the trails in front of me, as well as intersecting trails. I was honestly very surprised of the watches ability in this area. In terms of battery life I did have to recharge overnight just to be safe, while backpacking, but no more so than my Garmin Instinct (the first gen model). And the HR data on the Amazfit is much more accurate while backpacking than my Garmin. In terms of GPS functionality, on my bike rides in the suburbs, it performs flawlessly. My ride data perfectly matches the curvature of streets and mileage is accurate when compared to my Wahoo bike computer or Strava data. While backpacking in the mountains with lots of tree cover, cliff faces, tall mountains etc. it was less accurate, with the gps plot wandering off trail occasionally for long bits. However, this did not significantly affect my mileage data—it just made my route data less “pretty” when analyzing after the fact. Lastly, the altitude data is not great. Sometimes it worked really well over the course of a six hour mountain hike, other times it was off by a good 1200 feet over a course with 4000 ft of gain. So if the altimeter accuracy is a must for you, this is probably not your watch. Apps like Strava can automatically correct altitude data when you upload (as can the Zepp app) so I don’t consider this a deal killer. Bottom line—are there better fitness watches that provide higher accuracy and battery life for what I use the watch for (cycling, backpacking) — YES. My Wahoo bike computer is way better in every respect. But it also cost $350. And I’m sure a Garmin Fenix would kill this thing in terms of backpacking data and accuracy, at the cost of $600-$700. BUT, for $100 this little watch does amazingly well with routes, mapping, HR data, GPS tracking etc, and for day to day use (basic smart watch features) I love it. For $100 I’ll keep using it until it dies or until I simply get bored with it and want something else. The value is simply too great to not keep it and use the hell out of it.

The watch is very good it has brilliant features and sensors are just amazing ⭐ but the maps feature is kinda unoptimized and I think Zepp Developers should fix it by any updates and this watch also have great watchfaces although you will like only paid ones but that's also at even prices, for me atleast and they have also given there own App Store for downloading certain apps for navigation i recommend to download Navigation Wear it is free on watch but you have to pay for Navigation Wear Mobile version for ₹270 for lifetime so it's good for Turn-by-Turn navigation and if you want In-Map Navigation, the watch can do that but it's unoptimized that's what I'm talking about it can also continuously track your heartrate and everything in every minute and record it and the sensors are to good to be true type and this watch is comfortable you can wear it while sleeping, I do that and it automatically starts tracking once you are sleep and automatically finishes it when you wake up and I recommend you to wear it on the edge of tight and loose (na zyada dheele na zyada tight) comfortablity you know, and yes when you will open maps on the watch for the first time it will take time to load and will give error with red colour antenna so don't panic on that your watch is absolutely perfect just it needs in to be outside for the first time so that it can connect it to satellite and yeah you can download maps and transfer in it first before opening map and you can also transfer music to play it directly on your watch although there is a app in there app store called Amasub basically it can connect to your navidrome server so that you can directly play any music from server to directly in watch if any coder is out there then he can create and AI and Zepp Coach is also there works perfectly fine it's almost perfect watch in smartwatches I must say

Bought this to replace my Fitbit which broke, having lasted less than 18 months. Sick of poor quality Fitbit I decided to move away from them and did a lot of research before settling on this beauty. What can I say, it outshines my old fitbit in every way and cost less too. It looks better, the quality and build seem better, like it might actually last longer, and the zepp app which comes with it is brilliant. The insights are great, again, way more detailed than Fitbit! The watch itself has a really clear, bright screen, and even displays photos and videos! I can even get my ring doorbell on it. It's very versatile to suit your needs, with so many different features and there's lots of clock faces to choose from to personalise it, some free, some paid. It was really easy to set up and connect to my phone. Battery life is insane too, I've just gone 10 days since my first charge without charging it. I've just now put it on charge, it was still on 25% so not desperate (for this watch anyway). I cannot recommend this watch enough for looks, versatility, ease of use, battery life, and price point. It looks way more expensive than it is! I do recommend buying screen protectors though as this watch does have a glass screen.

I bought this watch to replace my Garmin which has battery issues. I was a also wearing a Fitbit watch as my everyday wear. I thought I would gamble on a cheap smartwatch rather than buying a new Garmin. I couldn't be happier with the Amazfit Active 2. It has replaced both watches. The battery life is stellar. It does everything I want it to. It syncs to Strava and the measurements seem to be in line with my other smartwatches. I do wish the Zepp app had more detailed stats like the Garmin Connect app but I can live with it. Sure it doesn't really have many apps but I don't really need any watch apps other than what's included out of the box. It's operating system is fast and intuitive. I couldn't recommend it more m
