Fantastic Piece of Kit
This camera case is fantastic and superb value for money. The leather case is robust and fits my Canon G7x Mk 2 like a glove and offers a high degree of protection and I am sure will last for many years. The strap is perhaps the weakest part of its construction but is certainly adequate for its purpose. Dispatch was prompt and the item arrived at least 7 days ahead of its predicted delivery date, well done!

Great product
Really good. Had this for over a year now. Don't like to review straight away I like to get a good use of the product first. Had no problems. My onky gripe would be that you have to take the entire E thing off to get the battery out. Would be great if there was a hole.

Protects the camera, but it isn't great design or quality
The good thing about this case for a Canon G7x ii is : it gives this (btw great!) camera a decent amount of protection from the vicissitudes of life. The possible catches / things you need to bear in mind: - it adds a lot of bulk to the camera. it roughly doubles its volume (10.5 x 6.5 x 4.3 cm, nearly 300cm3, becomes 12 x 8 x 6 cm, nearly 600cm3) and adds almost 30% to its weight (320g becomes 414g, without the strap). - the lower part of the case is sort of designed to stay on the camera. With the case on, the camera wobbles a bit rather than standing securely flat, so you tend to need your tripod for any remote/ timer shots. - re the upper part of the case - I cant decide if it is meant to be removed completely unclip both studs - so you need two hands free to take a picture, and you need to pocket the upper part of the case and then clip it back on afterwards ) or just opened up (unclip one stud - but then the other stud usually undoes itself). it kind of gets in the way a bit. (Update after a few months of use: it really does get in the way, very fiddly) - the vendor describes the case as being leather. To me, 'leather' means: it came from cows. I'm unable to verify this. In all of the areas where real leather would expose its (suede-like) underside, the case has synthetic fabric covering it. So if it is leather, it is presumably low quality.I'll shortly be in the market for something of better design / quality - less bulky, less clunky...
