We bought this toaster to supplement our toaster oven. We wanted a modern, elegant design that would fit with the other appliances on our countertop. This fit the bill, plus with the cool external surfaces, we were able to further customize our toaster with some decals. The toaster toasts well, with the wires blocking some of the heat so it is a little uneven. If the toaster oven is preheated, there can be some unevenness to the toasting, but this is mild and not a huge concern. We have not tried thicker toast, but even on a setting of 1 or 2, the thinner bread was well toasted. It fit two slices of "normal sized" bread across well, but would not be able to fit more. Extra buttons add a bit of time or toast a specific amount of time. All and all, it is a bit pricey for a simple toasting, but combined with our need for a presentable device, it fits our needs well.

We bought his toaster to replace another standard counter top toaster that worked, but had a deteriorating cord. We chose this because it seemed more versatile than a regular toaster, and looked easy to clean. We use a toaster every morning because my husband likes toast for breakfast. We have never liked toaster ovens because they don't toast as well, but at times it would have been nice to have one to brown small portions of food. Just never saw the need to have both appliances. This toaster kind of helps you get the best of both worlds, depending on your needs.The good stuff:I very much like the design - it is indeed easy to clean crumbs out of the tray. It toasts evenly, despite what another user stated; the line from the bars that hold the food in place is very minimal. I love that it can hold longer pieces of freeform bread. See last photo - I even browned up a microwaved burrito in it. Love the versatility!Could be improved:I wish it had come with an explanation about the buttons. We just had to figure things out by trial and error, which was a little annoying. I HATE THE BEEPING. The whole house doesn't need to know my toast is ready. When it is finished toasting, it beeps loudly until you attend to it. I wish I could disable this feature. Lastly, I subtracted a star because the paper inside the box said you only get the cover (i.e. the rest of the product you paid for) if you complete a review. C'mon guys, think of some other way to motivate people to review your product. Withholding the cover is silly.Overall, we are glad we purchased this product.

Years ago I had a Cuisinart toaster that came with a seperate tray like device that you put in the bread slot which allowed you to make a grilled sandwich in the toaster. Cuisinart no longer makes that toaster and I have been looking for something similar for a while. I finally found it! What’s more, this toaster looks great, is easy to clean and can toast a whole slice of artisan bread. It does not toast completely evenly, but I have yet to find a toaster that does. This one toasts as evenly as the $300. Magimix that have been using for years. As for those who are upset that it doesn’t come with the “cover” that the company will send if you post a review, the “cover” is actually a seperate tray that attaches to the toaster; it is not part of the toaster itself, and does not affect the operation or look of the toaster.

When we saw the toaster we thought it looked a little cheap made, as it is plastic and you can see some marks from the making process I guess (see the pics) but it really works very well. The manufacturer sent us easy to follow instructions via email so we didn’t even need to read the manual. It is easy to use and you don’t have to deal with annoying crumbs getting out everywhere. It has a very convenient size to toast all types of bread. The only minor thing I have found after a week of use is that sometimes it’s a bit uncomfortable to take the bread or sandwich out but you take the tray out, push the button and tilt towards a plate and that’s it. Overall I am loving it!

I bought this toaster as I thought is was pretty cool looking. However in everyday usage has found it lacking. Simple stuff like two toaster waffles tends to be a challenge because the heating element not as long as the waffles. Got to toast, turn, toast again. I find that I have to give most items more than a single toasting. The high end of the setting isn't enough to toast a slice of bread to my liking, (and my liking isn't charcoal, think medium tan), so have to toast twice. The twist on/off every time ends up being a pain over time. I just want my toaster to toast and then be done. Frankly that the toaster doesn't come with the "tray" bugs me. You'll get an offer to get the tray if you leave a good review when you buy this product. Keep this in mind when you see the high 5 star ratting of this product. Overall - Pros, Looks good. Cons, not that good of a toaster.

Well, this is a unique thing on the market and deserves some stars.The easiness of cleaning is without any match, and that's what I wanted. If you don't care about that - DO NOT buy as the regular ones are doing this toasting job better and faster.Some details:- the plastic quality is something that I haven't seen in decades - some cheap thing with color hues due to the manufacturing defects - hard to see it nowadays even in the lowest quality products.- There is only one heater - in the middle - should have two, up and down, for more uniform heating.This thing is probably 10$ wholesale, to get from China. And that is not a problem. The problem is that they charge 60$ without paying attention that such profit should ask for a more polished product. Especially since that doesn't cost much more ; better plastic would cost them a 1$ more; Two heaters maybe 2$ more. That would be 30% increase in manufacturing, the way they see it, right ? Fair enough, but for me 60$ or 63$ is the same, and I am rating the product here, thus 3 stars.UPDATE:I just saw the very same plastic with color hues on Dyson V10 vacuum. Duh. I guess that's how it is these days - some big plastic manufacturer in China has some defective batch... Will add one star back.Summary: don't buy if cleaning is not your priority - the lack of heaters, and speed is just not there to justify this price.
