The old motor was very slow from when the car was new and eventually would only move the window in small steps, the problem becoming worse in hot weather. Due to some helpful tips on the Internet, it was surprisingly easy to fit this new motor. The window then moved as quickly as the driver's side. Somewhat unexpectedly, during some very hot weather, the driver's side motor failed in the same way a week later. Replaced it with another ACDelco motor and now they both work perfectly. I did not use the nuts and bolts provided in the kit as they would have been very fiddly to install with the regulator still inside the door.
