I’ve seen many people criticise this book for being informal, but this book is intended to be an INTRODUCTION to QM, so this critique is ungrounded. Upon reading this book, you will have a solid understating of QM and its principles, and you will be all suited to read more advanced texts, for example, the one by Sakurai (but if you are truly looking for rigour, you will of course read Hall’s book or Takhtajan’s book) Review: Excellent condition & Very good intro to QM - Excellent condition and in terms of the book's contents it's straightforward to understand and the book always explains the concepts of QM effectively. I'd say what's difficult is the math however that's quite expected. Nonetheless, it's a brilliant book to start with for your undergrad; through constant use, you will get the hang of it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good introduction and challenging problemset *by S***V on 22 July 2020* This book is very good for the first course in Quantum Mechanics. Students who are already familiar with QM will find the problemset to be useful - it introduces a lot of interesting concepts, even some ideas behind field quantization in QFT are mentioned in it. Also contains a nice chapter about the meaning of QM, including Bell inequality and other things. I think it's a good introduction into philosophy of the subject. But it mostly takes Copenhagen viewpoint.
