Will this help train fingers to stretch to aid in playing g the guitar?

Where is this made?

Finger extension seems to be what this does (with the bands on the inside of the wrist). can it be reversed for finger curls? (for guitar playing)?

thinking of using this after a stroke. are there different bands to vary the tensions? such as extra soft to Extra Firm?
