One Dozen (12) Black Australorp Chicken Free Range Eggs

Purchased 24 eggs and received an additional and even with the additional eggs; hatch was only 40%. had a total of 8 eggs that were not fertile. Did get additional eggs which was a blessing.

We ordered a dozen eggs for our very broody australorp hen who just wouldn't give up on hatching her unfertilized/ceramic eggs. We received TWO dozen eggs (thank you!), very well wrapped and shipped promptly. Half of the eggs we put under our broody, who took those 12 immediately, and the other half we put in an incubator in the house. Of the total 24, only 3 were unfertilized/never developed and one was crushed by the broody hen early on, leaving 20 total developing chicks. When they started to pip, we added the incubator eggs to mama's nest, and she took them all! As of right now, there are at least 14 healthy, feisty little peepers under mama hen, and more are still hatching. Our family has loved this experience so far - I would definitely purchase again!

Not one egg hatched! Extremely disappointed. Was a totally waste of money and time. I would not advise anyone from obtaining these eggs.

Ordered 12 recieved 18. Of those two hatched some died along the way. Only two seemed unfertile. The rest was my hatching style. I will try dry hatch method next time. But my two girls are a week old and precious little gals. Very healthy, clean eggs, exceptionally packaged.

eggs came well packaged and mark as live eggs. 9 of the twelve eggs hatched, which given that this was a winter shipment, I consider this an excellent hatch rate. Very pleased with the chicks, who are growing fast and feisty.

None of my eggs hatched. 😢😥 but none of them were broken.

Eggs arrived in timely manner. Well packaged. None were broken. Ordered 12 received 18. Lost 4 to another hen. In the end I have 12 chicks. I will order again next time I get a broody.
