Excellent quality for the money
I was looking for my first ND filter to experiment with certain creative looks I am after. I have been into photography for many years but I didn't really care much for the type of photos when a filter like this is usefulI purchased several filters from Amazon with the goal to pick one and return the others. I went with B+W and Hoya (which are quite pricey), and Neewer, which was the cheapest, in addition to this one. I never heard of ShutterPoint or Neewer brands, so I wanted to give them a try alongside the known B+W and Hoya brands.I did a few photo tests, and even tried spraying filters with water to see how they can repel it. Coating quality seems to be similar for all filters I tested, except Neewer which doesn't seem to be coated, and ShutterPoint was the only one coated on both sides. Color uniformity, vignetting, and color casting was barely noticeable with Hoya, B+W, and ShutterPoint. Neewer again was the loser of the pack with a bad color cast and loss of sharpness. My conclusion is that for the money, ShutterPoint was a clear winner. This filter is made well and easy to screw on and off. A PDF usage tips guide is a nice add-on too. Definitely recommend.

Good ND filter
Good ND filter. Threads on fine. Color is a little off from more expensive ND 8 filters i own but for the price it's pretty good. Thin filter works fine even with my ultra wide lenses.

Works great to reduce propeller distortion.
I purchased this filter to reduce the propeller distortion when filming flying videos. It worked well. You can check out the video on my YouTube channel. Look for AusTexAviatir.

at 65% off.... no complaints
I'm giving it 4 stars as a result of having gotten 65% off.... its not a B+W... but there are many worse ND filters out there
