Golden brown with smooth, semi-translucent skin and soft, toffee-flavored, yet not too sweet, flesh. The Kholas is the date variety most commonly taken with Arabic coffee. This variety comes desseded, filled with a caramelized pecan and dipped in dark chocolate.
