Pipsqueaks: Thirty-five Knitting Designs for Babies and Children up to Ten Years Old

This book is hard to find!
I have been using my neighbor's copy and was feeling it was time to have my own - so many great patterns. Kim Hargreaves is a great designer for cool kid's knits. The seller was excellent - prompt service and book was 'gently' used, as promised.

love Kim Hargreaves, classic but 'edgy'
Excellent. Certain yarns listed in the patterns are no longer available, but closely matching substitutes are; let the gauge be your guide.

Problems on knitting
I have a question and do not know who to ask: I’m trying to go back to knitting after more than 30 years, on the model Sweet I see holes in the pattern but I don’t find the instructions how to make them. Can anyone help?

Seven Missing
I found PIPSQUEAKS by Kim Hargreaves at a book sale in Charlottesville, VA and love it. The only problem is whoever donated it tore out 5 of the 35 patterns: Daisy, Harry, Hide Blanket, Lucky, Mimi, Scamp and Squiffy. If there is a generous knitter who would like to send me these patterns I would be ever so grateful. I'm a senior living on S.S. so I can't afford to buy a complete copy. I love to knit! I love this book!
This book is so full of fabulous patterns that you really won't know which one to knit first. Five or six of them are sized for infants, but almost all of them can be made for two- or three-year-olds up to ten-year-olds. I've made a number of patterns from this book and have loved all the end products (as have their wearers). Some of my favorites: Hero, a Rowan Denim roll-neck with a big white star on the chest; Lucky, a soft moss stitch cardigan for babies; Harry, a cool mock turtleneck with ribbed sleaves; and Daisy, a cardigan with huge flowers all over it. There are also two bags, a hat, two blankets, a pillow, and two scarves. All of the patterns are pretty simple (beginning to intermediate knitters), but have a special something that makes them fun to make and to wear. I know I'll be knitting from this book for years.

Great Book - get it if you can find it
This is a great book - wonderful patterns; I've probably made the "Lucky" as a baby gift a dozen times.Recommended yarns can be switched out successfully.
