pre ordered it from here didnt automatically send me a code i had to email amazon customer support for them to send me one....

I downloaded the game but some Times my mouse wouldn’t render and it was super glitchy and lagged out I haven’t been able to play it yet

I had the exact same thing happen to me after getting this game. What fixed it for me was going into the Origin clients settings by going to the top left and click on Origin, then go to Application Settings. There is an option at the top of the client that says ORIGIN IN-GAME. Click that and then where it says Enable Origin In-Game, make sure it is set to off. You may or may not have to restart the Origin client, but that should fix the issue. I wish I knew why it does this. I just know it helped me and I hope it helps you also.

Does the microsoft 3d joystick work with the starfighter gamemode?

You may want to find a USB Xbox controller, they are compatible with PC too. I use official Microsoft only for controllers.
