From the Manufacturer desertcart Basics Review: Love These Pens! - I love these pens! They write so smoothly and there are so many beautiful colors. They are reasonably priced, comfortable to use and just glide on paper. Great purchase! My granddaughter loves using them when she stays over. Review: Excellent pens for great value. These are my favorite! - I normally wouldnt review a basic product like a simple pen, but I'm gonna take a minute to do so for these. I am very picky with my pens, I need certain ones for my handwriting to be clean and legible, and these desertcart Basics pens are that. They are smoothe, have perfect sized ball/tip for my liking, the ink is smoothe and doesnt seem to smear easily, and they are just simply tough. They also allow me to write very small and still be legible, which is key for the inspection reports I fill out constantly. For the price, getting 12 pens for $12 ($1/each) is a great price for these. Not sure what else I can say, but out of all the pens I buy to try out and find a decent writing utensils, these are by far the best for the price. If you lose one, or someone walks off with it, your only out $1. The clips also seem tough, I have others break easily and I need the clip so my pen is always on my shirt for quick access as I won't pit it in my pocket where it will break. These are excellent pens, I recommend them 100% so if you need a reliable pen that writes great for a low price, here they are. ## Features - SMOOTH WRITING EXPERIENCE: Enjoy consistent ink flow and a 1.2mm point for clear, bold lines with each stroke. The colors are nice and actually useful (not just random shades you’ll never use), and they make organizing notes or lists a lot easier. They write really smoothly—no skipping or scratching—and the ink comes out consistently. I’ve been using them daily and haven’t had any issues with them drying out or leaking. They’re also comfortable to hold, even if you’re writing for a while. Nothing fancy, but they just work, which is exactly what I wanted. Overall, just a good, reliable set of pens. If you need something simple for school, work, or home, these are a safe pick. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics Black Ballpoint Pens for Smooth Writing, Retractable, 12-Pack - Amazon Basics Retractable Ballpoint Pens, Smooth Writing, Blue, 12-Pack - Sharpie Permanent Markers Set, Quick Drying And Fade Resistant Fine Point Marker For Wood, Plastic, Paper, Metal, And More, Drawing, Coloring, And Poster Marker , Black, 12 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/70141912-retractable-ballpoint-pens-with-comfortable-grip-for-smooth-writing-black](https://www.desertcart.be/products/70141912-retractable-ballpoint-pens-with-comfortable-grip-for-smooth-writing-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
