I WANTED THE FIREPLACE WITH THE LOG SET AND IT SAID IT WAS AVAILABLE.I KEPT INQUIRING ABOUT IT AND NEVER DID GET AN ANSWER I COULD DEPEND ON. ONE OWNER SAID YES IT DID ANOTHER SAID NO IT DOESN'T.COULD BUY ONE WITH BOTH BUT ONLY WALL MOUNTED,SINCE I'M SELLING MY HOUSE I DID NOT WANT TO REPAIR A HOLE AND REPAINT AGAIN AND TAKE IT WITH ME WHEN I MOVE.THEN I HEARD I COULD GET ONE THAT IS WALL MOUNTED BUT, LEGS COULD BE PURCHASED TO GO ON IT. NEVER WAS ABLE TO GET THE ONE I REALLY WANTED.SO, THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS.I WAS NOT HAPPY THAT IT WAS MADE IN CHINA. OH WELL, IT DOES WORK AND THE HEAT COMES OUT THE TOP AND FLOWS INTO THE ROOM FORWARD. EVEN WITH HOURS OF RESEARCH IT MET MOST OF MY REQUIREMENTS EXCEPT THE LOGSET WITH LEGS. IT HAS A THEREMOSTATE, OVER HEAT SAFTY AND ALLOWS YOU TO CONTROL WITH A REMOTE. THE COLORS AND TEMPERATURE ALL CONTROLLED WITH REMOTE.A FEW COMPLAINTS HAD A NOISE PROBLEM, HAVE NOT HEARD ANY. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A HEATER, THIS IS EFFICIENT AND IT WILL TURN OFF IF OVER HEATED FOR SAFETY. THE HEATER WAS AN EXCELLENT PRICE FOR WHAT IT IS. I WILL BE INTERESTED TO SEE HOW IT DOES WHEN IT'S REALLY COLD.

It seems that we originally received one of the few "fireplaces" that was defective. It was an unfortunate situation, for sure. What is AMAZING is that this company, which is based in China responded to our "issue" (and I am a guy that HATES complaining...but I had too) like they were located in my town. "Grace" took the issue as "urgent." She took action immediately to remedy our situation. We had a contractor build the most beautiful mantle, custom for this fireplace box. Even with the initial challenge, we HAD TO BUY this same fireplace, again. As impressed as we were with the Fireplace (when we were shopping/comparing), we are MORE impressed with this COMPANY and GRACE at the way they stand behind their product. Yes, we all know that sometimes things do not always work out as planned, however to see this company, from so far away, rally to make this situation GOLDEN is impressive. YES! - BUY - BUY - BUY from this amazing place - WE LOVE LOVE LOVE our FIREPLACE....the stockings have already been hung for Santa......Thank you GRACE. We all can learn so much from the way you manage your business.

After an extensive research we had nailed don on GMHome fireplace for our media room in the basement. When the product arrived we noticed that there was a slight damage in the front. We called the GMHome customer service and explained the problem. We were put in touch with Grace from the customer service department who was very courteous and carefully understood the situation and indicated we send a picture of the damage to assess whether the GMHome technical specialists could repair the issue. With a quick response, she immediately came back saying they will process and ship a replacement unit asap. This was extremely helpful as we were on a very tight schedule. The fireplace arrived on time and intact and we were able to install it without any issues. It looks great, works great and I'm a very satisfied customer. Excellent customer service and follow-up and product. Thanks again Grace and GMHome.

We went with this unit because the slim profile matched what we needed. I’d say it’s a seemingly good unit overall. It puts out a nice glow for the fire and the heat output is decent. Really, a good looking unit. It installed easily with the two mounting points on either side.I personally don’t love the functionality of the controls. Everything is a pressing cycle on the remote, so if you’re going for a certain temperature or color and you miss it the first time around, you’ve got to repeatedly press each button until you reach it. A pretty big negative for me is that there’s no option to turn off the led lights if you just want the heat. So if you’re planning on using this as a main heat source in a bedroom, look elsewhere. Lastly, there’s no previous use memory. It would be nice to get it the way you like it and just power it on and off, but every time we go to use it, it’s a series of presses and beeps until we get to where we want it again.All small things for us in our situation, but I can see that being a real problem if again, you were wanting to heat a bedroom or anything else where the items I mentioned would be problematic. Once the warranty is up, I’ll probably take it apart and add my own control panel and solve all the problems I didn’t like, but my wife said I must wait a year first.In conclusion: good looking unit, annoying controls.

I had given a 3 star review when the first GMHome 50” fireplace was delivered to us back around 12/22/18 b/c it stopped blowing heat from the unit immediately. I contacted the company which they responded right away and though, it took some time to get it resolved they took full responsibility w/o any hassle and sent us a brand new one (January, 2019) which we absolutely love. We had it installed into the wall under our mounted TV in our basement and the unit works great and looks beautiful. I do wish they had a customer service phone number to contact them but, all-in-all they do stand by their products and did the right thing for the customer. I changed my rating to a 5 star rating and would order from them again.

This 70 inch linear fireplace is so sleek and gorgeous. I receive so many compliments. I use this fireplace daily and I live in Florida. During the colder months I appreciate the heating element. This beautiful fireplace brings me so much joy and happiness.I purchased this almost four years ago in 2019 and it works perfectly in 2022.I am doing a new review because I recently contacted customer service via Amazon to request a new remote control. Grace responded immediately and in about two days I had a new remote control. I am so impressed.I love this fireplace, I love this company and I love the kindness in Grace’s heart. She is a beautiful person.I highly recommend all of the above…
