Fantastic food, lasts forever. My dog got bored of this food so if your dog is picky don’t buy this much.

I gave this to my boxer Shepherd and he loves it went to Walmart they were out of stock had to buy Walmart brand Old Roy dog wouldn't eat it again he wanted his prokal and now I can't find it in stock anywhere so wake up at kal kan and start making more....Especially since the price is better than just about any other and my dogs really like it doesn't seem to come from China I like it last time I checked how kalcan is an American company

While likely not for every dog or breed, I have two adult purebred boxers (Euro/American mix) and this is the only food they can eat! They have a sever allergy to egg, an ingredient found in all other dog foods we have tried, and this is the only on that doesn't cause any problems. When they were pups we were told by a trainer to try things that were high protein or low grain, but those were worse, and cause both boxers to become horribly sick. Since we have fed then Kal Kan for years, at least 4 years now, and haven't had any problems, aside from finding it as it's become harder to find in local stores!

Please, Please, Please informed and research this horrible dog food. Many of your pets, this food would taste delicious for the first few weeks, but within the first couple months,, yiur dog's energy will drop to the floor, they will experience hair loss in spots, urinary disfunction, but above all, mucus in the poop which signals elevated sugar due to this food's high carb content. Sadly, I felt into their marketing scheme of contributing to the veterans, the claimed omega's in the cover, made in the USA Since 1936 and cheap price. Aside from having corn as the number one ingredient, This dog food has animal fat which is preserved with BHA, a suspected cancer-causing agent. meat and bone meal, a dry “rendered product from mammal tissues, including bone, exclusive of any added blood, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and rumen contents, soybean meal, a by-product of soybean oil production more commonly found in farm animal feeds, wheat, another cereal grain and subject to the same issues as corn, chicken by-product meal, a dry rendered product of slaughterhouse waste. wheat middlings, commonly known as “wheat mill run”. In reality, wheat middlings are nothing more than milling dust and floor sweepings — and an ingredient more typically associated with lower quality pet foods. And lastly, this dog food contains menadione, a controversial form of vitamin K linked to liver toxicity, allergies and the abnormal break-down of red blood cells.

If your pockets are empty and so are your dogs belly, THIS WILL WORK! HOWEVER, I STRONGLY recommend mixing each bowl with 1 can of Pedigree high protein for active breeds. This helps ALOT! It won't break your pocket and it won't break your pet either! Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do, just don't be to stingy get the wet food as well!!!
