The first time that I tested one of these bags before trying to use it for sous vide cooking, I filled it with water, sealed it, and held it upside down. And water leaked out. Bags seem fine if you don't actually need a leak-proof seal.

These are a great idea. I hate disposable plastic bags-they’re the worst. These help reduce the need for those significantly.But they’re not perfect, so some suggestions for the designers:1) they’re difficult to clean (I turn them inside out in the dishwasher, which kinda works well). But the issues are the corners of the bag and how it’s designed to close flat for storage as opposed to be easy to clean.2) maybe design a complimentary rack system designed to keep these open/go in a dishwasher/ airdry the bags? That would help a lot:)

These bags are fantastic. I have tried several different kinds and these by far are the best. I use them for packing my lunch, freezing leftovers, cooking food and keeping my fruits and veggies fresh and so far they haven't let me down. They are made from thick silicone and are very durable so they will last a good long time. The airtight zipper is well made and keeps everything sealed up under any condition. No more need for cheap plastic baggies, these will save your money. I'll be buying more in the future.

I’m using the bags to store leftovers in the refrigerator. They are very sturdy, a good size, open and close easily, and transparent (so I can see what’s in them).

We're trying to go environment friendly and this is one of our changes. We love them. They clean well in the top shelf in the dishwasher. I did the water test when I first got them because I wanted to make sure they didn't leak. They all opened ok too no issues with tearing. I'm happy with this change for us.

These bags are a nice, thick silicone which is great. Be careful when opening them for the first time so that they don't rip as the silicone may stick together. I tried running them in the dishwasher when I first got them but some crumbs from other things stuck on the bottoms on the inside and the outside so I had to rewash them by hand and set them over cups to dry.I love that I am reducing waste by using these and how nice and thick they are. Even with their thickness, they don't squish fragile things like chips/ They seem to work well in the freezer as well. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Great quality product! The material is sturdy and easy to clean. I have found them to be especially convenient for marinading meat. I initially bought these trying to replace ziplock baggies for things in my packed lunches, but they are a little to large for that purpose (my fault for not checking the size very closely) but I have loved having them for other purposes.

I have many collapsible silicone products in the galley and was looking forward to reusing these and cutting down waste. Two in the package were melded together so that you couldn’t get them open. If that happened in shipping, I don’t think it would tolerate hot food. I still think it is a good idea other than the closure method.
