Woohot O-Ring Hot Shoe Adapter for DJI Osmo Mobile 2, Applied to Microphone and LED Light Accessory Via 2 Cold Shoe Mount, Come with A Tripod Stand.

Needed to get a mic on my dji osmo mobile (1st gen). This does the trick. It fits up around the top of the handle, and also works at the very bottom, which is better for me because it keeps the mic out of the shot.

The metal construction is very well machined. Time will tell if the rubber gasket will stay in place but I suspect that if adapter is not removed all the time that it should hold up well. I was not sure what to expect but am extremely pleased with the adapter and now being able to mount a mic, light, or both! Not sure why DJI did not keep the 1/4-20 on the Osmo Mobile 2 that was on the previous model but this adapter fixes that failure.

The original Osmo Mobile had 1/4-20 female connectors on the sides. You could purchase brackets that would secure to them and hold mics, lights, recorders and other accessories.Unfortunately, DJI did not include this feature on the Osmo Mobile 2.But the Woohot O-Ring compensates admirably well.Essentially, it is a custom machined fitting that fits around the upper part of the Osmo Mobile 2 handle. You can attach a cold shoe mount on either side and mount your accessories. You could even attach the brackets sold for the original Osmo Mobile.With a small video light on one side and a Zoom H1 recorder on the other, I didn't find the extra weight to be burdensome.Nice little product.,Jerry

I liked the idea behind this however I didn't have the same motion I needed for the dji. The cord would get In the way when i would try to get some cinematic shots. This is ideal for blogs or shooting yourself on a tripod stand. Not ideal for shooting on the go motion shots

Just what I needed! Perfect solution for adding a external microphone. Well built, great materials and quality. Sits perfectly where my middle & index finger provide more security I feel when holding the Osmo 2.

I have 3 different stabilizers, and the DJI Osmos are the toughest to add optional devices (especially those that are not part of the DJI repertoire). It also works great with my other Stabilizer and tripods, when adding Lighting, Zooms, etc.

This clamp for the Osmo Mobile 2 is solid. Placement has to be exact or it won’t connect to tighten the screw. Don’t over tighten as you could damage your Osmo. My biggest concern is that because of its location it can make access to the controls slightly awkward and you do lose some handle space for a good grip. All in all it’s a good product to be able to add accessories.
