36" Beginners Adare Harp Package, Complete Celtic Package with Video Tutor

The only thing that keeps this from receiving a 5th star is that while the shipment came in three packages over a number of days, there was nothing in the paperwork to indicate that other items were to follow. The first shipment matched the items in another offer and, in order to make sure there was no error, I had to look up my order to make sure I didn't make a mistake and then email the company to receive assurance that they did not make a mistake. All of this could have been avoided. For a beginner's harp, this is a very nice instrument. It began to develop its own "voice" within a couple of days. The beginner's book and instructional DVD are enough to get one started. This is all I asked for. The electronic tuner I received did not work. The company promised me they would replace it with an upgraded model, then send me the same model I had trouble with. The new one worked well and I was satisfied. In my opinion, this is a very good package, a good harp to learn on and to serve my needs for a long time.

I've always wanted to learn to play harp, and this package has been the answer. The instrument itself has a lovely sound and appears to be sturdy and well made. The basic tuning and playing instructions that came with it are decent, but I recommend ordering the Sylvia Woods books to really get going.

Don't recomend i bud a dusty string 34 strings for 1000 this one is 22 and the sound is not so good... and i think the price is to high... now that i know a lot more... i can get a 22 string 4 almost the same price... and you have to be aware that you only gonna need it for your frist cople of lessons cence is not a full harp...

I absolutely love my harp. Its voice is pure and deep, and the size is exactly right. The books and other accessories are great, but I would have liked to know about where/how to get a stand for its base. Other than that, though, the instrument itself is gorgeous, well-made, and a joy to play. My heart and my ears are thrilled!

I mostly like and am enjoying this product. I would like to see the harp chord sheet added with the product.

Comes with books, DVD, stand, tuner, wow. This has got it all, and not bad for the price if you ask me. The strings are also colored to make playing easier.

I ordered this harp package and waited with great excitement for it to arrive. The harp that was delivered was actually the less decorative Heather Harp. When I called the company I was told the Heather and Adare models are the same harp. I told the company representative that I wanted the prettier, hand carved rosewood and mahogany Adare model that I ordered. I have seen the Adare model for sale elsewhere for around $100 less without the books, DVD and tuner. I am told they will call me back in 3 days to let me know what the company plans to do about their mistake. If I had it to do over again, I would just have ordered a better instrument from a reputable luthier. Now I am just waiting to see what will be done. The HEATHER harp seems quite nice and is attractive with nice sound. As reported, initial tuning takes time and repetition, but this is the case with all stringed instruments. I will post again after the Home Place Group figures out what they are doing.

This product did not work for me. I was never able to keep it tuned. I tuned it myself and took it into my local music store four times and the tunes was hard to get and even keep while tuning. I was never able to successfully play it because if this.I returned the harp and never received a refund from the company. No matter how many times I tried to communicate with them I only got the runaround. No refund!
