Review: Excellent Value - Very good value for money. The pole is very strong and fits together well. Their is a bit of flexibility in it but you need that to get through the thicker branches. The saws (spares are supplied) are excellent but it is the guillotine which is invaluable. Once you get the hang of it and manoeuvring the pole at height, it is really good to use and can cut fairly chunky branches. One thing I would say is that at length it is quite heavy and tricky to move, but that is not really a fault, just a warning that depending on your strength, you may need someone else to help move and position it. Overall, extremely good purchase and will save you a fortune on tree surgery fees.

The tree was close to a wall and heavily overgrown, so shaping it was a tough job. The lopper attachment also works well, though it can be slightly awkward if you’re frequently swapping between attachments and pole sections. The rope mechanism is functional but a bit fiddly; I ended up wrapping it around my hand for quicker control instead of constantly resetting it. Good gloves are essential either way. Overall, I’m very impressed. It handled a difficult job with ease, feels solid and rugged, and is highly functional. Very happy with it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, but difficult at full length.

There is no doubt that this is a well made kit and good value for money. However, unless you are very Strong and Fit, it’s difficult to operate at maximum length. But, for lower height trees it’s great using it at shorter lengths. The chord operated secateurs work particularly well.
