They will make your garden look fantastic. And mine keep coming back each year from the seeds the sunflowers drop and regrow themselves! wonderful product. Review: Low gergermination, very short - Most didn't sprout, those that did were weak and didn't exceed 2 feet. Resembled a daisy, not a sun flower.

terrible germination but heck no one is perfect maybe my seeds were just an anomaly
Germination lousy. Got one to start and figured for the price maybe one was better than none. If seeds were as big as they should be, I could serve one seed per each & cut down on potato! Well, it would have been nice. When The plant was about a foot tall. it up & died for no apparent reason. I was glad I put some of my own (last years) in which at least gave me a partial harvest. Put up 2 stars because I might try it one more time.

Not worth the money or time.
I had excellent germination and growth, but the plants are only 5 feet tall so far and starting to produce blossoms. I have them planted in a composted chicken manure area. I am disappointed, to say the least! I have a garden where my chickens free ranged for 10 years. Pumpkins, squash and beans thrive there, as well as potatoes. My tomatoes are nearly as tall as these five footers, don't be fooled and just buy the Mammoth Grey stripe, they get taller and are hardier.

14% germination success.
I was highly skeptical after reading lots of reviews and feedback about Robs Rare and Giant Seeds (and also from the obviously fake picture used to advertise the seeds.) However, it was only a few bucks so I bit the bullet and figured that even if they don't get enormous, they will still be pretty. I was shocked by what I received in the mail. They truly are the biggest sunflower seeds I have ever seen. I wish I had taken a picture. I am working on germinating them now, but I will update as they sprout and grow. Time will tell if they are as advertised. UPDATE::: So far, only 1 seed has successfully germinated. I will give them some more time, but after this much time I would be shocked if any more popped up. So that's a 14% germination rate. Very poor. I will continue to update as it grows. Decreasing my stars to 3 UPDATE 3/3/2016 I finally rooted around in my seed starter for the missing seedlings and confirmed that all the others were inviable. Some of the seeds casings didn't actually have a seed inside them at all. So these seeds do indeed have a 14% germination success rate. The one seedling that I did get is quite robust and is putting forth a strong healthy root system. So -1 star for only 1 seedling, +1 star for the 1 seedling being a good one leaves us with still 3 stars. I will continue to update as it grows. UPDATE: 3/8/16 I transplanted the seedling to the planting area, where it was promptly munched by a slug. I actually caught the sucker in the act (RIP slug). I have since treated the area for slugs. I thought I had eradicated them but apparently not. Luckily it still has some of it's leaves left, so we will watch and see if it recovers. I personally think it will be fine. It has even grown a bit since I took this picture.
