Very useful for containing you things, I somehow expected it to expand more than it did. (Mine expanded to 14".) While it is a nice medium-weight plastic and decently made, I recommend making it empty before trying to move it about. Too much weight like a pile of magazines and it might snap. Still, for light use on a desktop, it is a good addition.

Wish I could rate it 0 stars...arrived broken but easy to understand why, what a piece of junk! wobbly and weak, I wouldn't know of anything it would work for its so rickety. order something else as this will just disappoint you!!

These work great for my large 3-ring binders and they're holding up fine. At first I was dismayed bc they're very thin and I was sure they'd break while I set them up. Like the others they open like an accordion but the sections are much narrower. I can fit 2-3 of the 1.5" & 2" binders but only one of the 4" & 5" binders. But.... they're holding up and I'm not having floppy binders falling sideways like a deck of cards or on the floor. Since moving to a smaller house and decreasing the size of my home office I've been plagued by the binders not having their own space (other home office had a wall to wall custom made bookshelf). Thanks to these holders no more falling binders, no more injured arms trying to catch them; they're in order, easy to pull out and use and just as easy to put them back in place. When I clean this space since I'm short I need a 2 step ladder which made it even more difficult to catch the books if they toppled over. Now I can clean their tops and dust the shelf often. I'm ordering 2 more sets of these because the price is right and they do the job they're intended to do.

Flimsy. I needed this to hold some text books and it was not sturdy enough. Would work better for small book and folder organization I think. Just didnt suit my purposes.

Cheep china plastic garbage. Tossed it within a year. Not garage sale worthy. Not even the free box.
