Sound Bar for TV, 37-in Soundbar with Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, Optical, RCA, 3.5mm Aux, USB Input

I hate to give a one star review as it's very rare I do. I do have good standards, but I usually at least get to the stars as I research things before buying them. For the price point unless I got a bad version this failed on every criteria for me. I'm extremely picky with sound so that probably doesn't help the companies case. Moving on, the sound was actually worse than my TV speakers, really that should be enough to give you an idea, but I'll keep going. The sounds very flat, even felt tiney especially as you increased volume. The idea of creating channels was nice, but in theory not actual use apparently as this didn't help it's sound dispersion. If you're looking for soundbar under $100 then I'd look into a company called byl. They have pretty good sound and they have eq customization options. Three presets, movie, music and dialogue, but also treble and bass options within those categories, this one does not.The only good thing I can recall before returning was that this was easy to connect Bluetooth, was louder than my TV speaker, but the quality just wasn't there for me. Unless they update this model I'd move on.

This review is for the TEWELL 37-in sound bar (T-232).I have an older TV with HDMI, but without optical audio. I also have a lot of devices, that were connected to an HDMI splitter. But, my old splitter did not have audio out.Got another splitter, now that all seems to be working.One minor annoyance only - when I turn on the sound bar, it defaults to some setting that isn't the one I'm using. I have to find the remote (at least it isn't a tiny easily loseable one) and switch the audio source. Since it's the only audio input that is connected, you'd think the sound bar would default to "the one that's plugged in".

Love it, compact very full sound, amazing bass for such small speaker. I use it as the sound bar for movies, does the excellent job. It can be connected to your phone or TV by the Bluetooth. Also, what is really recommended by me is the way it assembles. You can either put two bars beside your TV set or combine them together into one bar by easily connect and screw.

Gave 1 star across the board, would have given zero stars if the option had been there.At this point I am debating whether to go through the process of returning it....use it till it dies which should not be to long or take it outside and smash it with a big hammer!Lets see....Cannot get the logo that shows what sound level it is set at to disappear, it is constantly flashing on and off.Remote control is garbage! Fresh batteries, dead batteries, no batteries, does not matter, the remote only works about 10% of the time.Sound level is terrible! No matter what you try, the sound bar says its maximum is '20', which is about next to nothing.Sound quality is terrible, I understand this was a cheaply priced unit and did not expect a whole lot but I did expect more than what its current performance and quality is.Customer support is simply not there, they put right in the paperwork that comes with the unit that if you have any issues contact their customer support direct, I tried that and got zero response....another waste of time.Recommendation: DO NOT BUY! If you are looking for a sound bar, do not be a cheapskate like I was, spend a little more, avoid this product and get something that gives more bang for the buck and might have actual support.To the seller: NO! I am not going to jump through any hoops for you to get a replacement, have had that happen already here on Amazon where the seller contacted me and tried to make me jump through hoops and give up personal information to get a replacement item, so don't ask, its not going to happen.To AMAZON: Please try to vet your sellers and the products they sell a little better and be more stringent in what you allow to be sold, yes we buyers are looking for deals, but we are not looking to be screwed over and have a bunch of frustration dumped on us because of what we buy turns out to be junk.

Original review after the update.Updated review!TEWELL contacted me and sent out a replacement after seeing my original review. The new unit functions perfectly! Excellent quality and sound. For the price you're getting a bargain. I'm a very happy customer. Upgraded to 5 stars. TEWELL earned it.Customer service is excellent!Original review:Can't get it to work anymore. It seemed to work ok at first. Then, there was a delay of several minutes and it would BOOM awake. Now it doesn't make a peep even though I check the settings on the tv and make sure everything is as it should be. I'm rather disappointed.

I just received this soundbar speaker and I’m highly disappointed. It is not loud at all, my television by itself is louder. I was expecting more from this based on reviews and how great it LOOKED but sadly I’ll be returning this product ASAP and shopping for a different soundbar that delivers quality surround sound. This is terrible! Please Save yourself the disappointment

Tewell 37in sound bar had issues right out the box, the AV in did not work, HDMI ARC kept cutting in and out even with new HDMI cable. It would also lose settings when I would turn off and on. Most annoying is it keeps blinking on my TV everytime it cuts in and out. I have tried it on another tv and it does same thing. Oh yeah it is not loud at all.
