They pop up everywhere.
This toy was mentioned in a "must have toys of 2011" article on CNN. I bought them for my grandchildren. They are especially loved by my seven year old grandson - he likes to "stick" them in unusual places and "scare" his mom and sister (when the suction lets go, they pop into the air). They adhere to most surfaces with a small suction cup bottom. They are inexpensive, cute and harmless.

very cheap, they don't even work right and do what their supposed to do, my son tried to play with them once and never picked them up again.

Fun little sticky characters
I also saw this toy on CNN's "7 toys you gotta have." Got some for my grandaughter. She likes to put them in their pods at night to sleep. We also have fun hiding them in a room and then trying to find them. The suction cups are strong and they stick on flat surfaces. Cute and fun.
