Too short, wrong size("too short")

Much cheaper than it was at dealer and does same job.

price was not bad and fast shipping made the selection on item

This best, as delivered (a "kevlar" belt) DID NOT fit properly. After paying for installation, the mower WOULD NOT MOVE - when it did finally move, it ran at about half speed, and WOULD NOT go up even a simple incline. I don't believe this is an original John Deere part - so, now I get to go buy another belt, and pay a second installation charge - I would NOT recommend this to anyone - hoping I can get my money back on it.Update - I purchased an official John Deere part (Transmission Drive Belt) from a John Deere dealer (~$25). It was quite different (appearance) than the "kevlar" original purchase. Although appeared to be same length when compared to each other. After studying installation guidelines, I installed this JD one myself (really not that hard a job as it turns out). Tractor runs perfectly.Apparently the "kevlar" model is different shaped (mabe a little larger) and possible marginally longer, making it slip and not function properly.Lesson Learned: I do not recommend this "kevlar" belt - don't waste your money (and time) to save a few dollars on the real John Deere replacement part.Still hoping to return the kevlar belt and get small refund (no return labels, etc from original vendor yet). Might at least pay for the frustration this caused in getting this relatively simple (but essential) maintenance installation done.and BTW - the original John Deere belt had over 200 hours on it - lasted pretty good!!!

My Daughter's JD mower was getting very noisy when the brake was released and seemed to be slipping. Checked the transmission belt and it was terrible with cracks about every 1/8th inch. I ordered this belt, it arrived quickly and took about an hour or so to replace. It fit right on and the mower quieted down and runs nice now.. It's really nice being able to get these parts as my JD dealer is not near by and transportation is a problem for me.

The belt fits and it works. I would have no problem buying another one.
