The USB charging cable had a broken connection (the end that attached to the charging unit). It was a standard cable and I used one I had already on hand. It charged faster than I expected. The green plastic storage box is hard to latch. The enclosed instructions were poor. They did not explain how to switch the different modes.At the same time, I purchased the BOLT tactical flashlight. I didn't realize it, but these two are identical, except the BOLT has an AC charging unit, and this one has a USB charger. The BOLT storage box is black (and is easier to latch); this one is green. The batteries are identical and the handheld unit is identical, so I used the instructions with the BOLT to learn how to operate it. To switch the flash/strobe/steady modes, you have to push the on/off button halfway in. It is not intuitively obvious. I have only had the flashlight one day, so cannot comment on its durability.

I bought two of these a month and a half ago. Leaving one in my vehicle and one by the front door. Of course the one by the front door got the most use but the battery was no where needing to be recharged so it has not been used very much. A few days ago it started randomly blinking and now it will not work. The problem has nothing to do with the battery as I can take the battery out and it works fine in the other flashlight's body. Upon review of the packaging it provides a warranty slip but the slip has not contact information. Upon googling the company you will find out it only sells on amazon. Which actually states it has one heck of a warranty. Yet no information on how to send in your warranty request. So a month and a half in I am out one flashlight and I highly doubt the othe one will last very long once it gets a few minutes of use every few days. Stay away and buy a different brand. Not only are they selling poor products but they are selling a warranty they have no intentions of backing. A dirty business. Keep away.

Charged the battery and took the flashlight for a spin, it worked very well. It's impressively bright, lightweight, and I had full control of it with only one hand. Cool design. On the second use, after a few minutes using the high power beam, the flashlight began to randomly flash, cut out, or change intensity. Switched to low power and it worked OK. I wasn't thrilled, but it still had some utility. After a few more uses, the problem cropped up on the low power setting as well. Functionally useless now. Shipping it back.

This light has a lot of potential and hopefully you won't experience the issue I had. I really was looking forward to utilizing this light this weekend on my backpacking trip in Tahoe. The light is really bright and seems to be constructed well. From the get go, the light would flicker as if it was on the strobe setting. It would flicker on and off while on the HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW setting automatically. I was pretty bummed because of how great it sounded based off of other reviews.

We purchased this flashlight for emergencies, and really needed it during the recent Hurricane that hit our area. We charged the battery before the storm, so it would be ready. However, similar to other users. The light just flashes on and off. We wanted to return the item, but because of the storm, that made it impossible. Another wasted purchase from Amazon.

Light is very bright. Mine came with a charger, rechargeable battery, and a battery tower which fits three AAA batteries. My only dislike is that the spring for the battery, which is inside, bends...making the light flicker or shut off during use. I had to bend mine straight and continue to do so periodically.

Problem, bought flashlight, worked great, until I recharged the battery, once recharged the light wants to blink on the flashlight mode, so it turned into a strobe light, every setting turns to a messed up strobe light. I contacted them and yes they sent another which was awesome, but again another strobe flashlight after charging the battery. So now I have not one, but 2 broken ass strobe flashlights. If I could give this a zero star rating I would. But I cant in order to write this review.

I really like this flashlight it puts out a lot of light if you want it to and you can recharge it when needed.
