Waist Trainer Corset: 9 Reinforced Steel Bones – 100% Premium Latex and Cotton Cincher by Shape of You

First time having a cincher. When it first arrived, I tried putting it on and was kind of disappointed and thought I had gotten the wrong size. That is, until I went home and did what one of the other reviewers said by laying down. Goodness.........whew. I got it on the first row finally after wrestling with it. HA. Later on, I was able to put it on the third row and it looks great. I am not totally flat but it makes a difference. It also helps with my posture! I am well endowed so it also made my sisters stand up to attention. I will order another one soonUPDATE: I purchased a large because I felt as those the XL was not working for me. OH BOY!!! It definitely pulls all of me in. The first time, I thought I was going to new the jaws of life to help me get in and out of it. WHEW!!! Now, it takes a few more minutes than with the XL for me to get in but it is totally worth the end result. I like the fact it makes me sit taller (even while driving).

I bought this product to give me a good shape for my high school reunion. :) It worked great and really makes my booty pop! So I contemplated with the size...so many people said it was too big and so many people said it was way too small. My measurements put me in a size Med according to the charts, but I didn't want to have to buy another one in a few months so I ordered a small. It was tight when I got it, but I was able to get it snapped and with my husbands help, I got it off. The thing is very durable because I tugged to get it on. The next day I didn't need any help at all! Either I stretched it out or its working! I gave it 4 stars because the only thing I dislike about it is it pushes some of my back fat up so I until I lose more weight, I cant wear anything with a polyester type material because it really shows the back fat. I guess that's more my problem then the product.

The quality is very nice looking, it feels very sturdy, it was just too big. so WARNING!I am a size 3/4 in pants, I weight right now 130lbs, 5'5 and im a size 34B in bras (to give you an example of my chest width) and I got a small. It wasn't even tight on the tightest hook. Taking it out of the package I knew it looked too big for me, I could comfortably fit my hand in it on the tightest hooks when I was wearing it. I am going to return it for an XS and hopefully I will have a challenge getting it to fit on the loosest hook.I gave it 3 stars only because it was too big and i have to exchange it.

When I got this thing, I thought there was absolutely no way it was going to close. For reference, I am 5 ft 9 inches tall and weigh about 190 lbs. I ordered the Large. After much stretching and some help from my husband, it did fit! It is plenty long and goes from the bottom of my bra/rib cage down to over my hips. I've worn it many times, and it is never a one-person job to get it on. There are sooooo many little hooks (like bra hooks) all the way down the front and it takes one person to hold it together and another to do the hooks. It's meant to be tight to hold your waist in and I don't think it would be as effective if it fit easily, so I'm glad I didn't get it any bigger. It wouldn't have held everything in so tightly. The material is some kind of thick vinyl, it has almost a plasticky yet very flexible feel. It's definitely not breathable, but that's the point of a waist trainer. It's probably not washable, either. To clean mine I just put a bit of laundry soap on a wet washcloth, wipe it down, rinse it off, then let it air dry. This waist trainer does an awesome job of sucking everything together and making my posture great. It is impossible to slouch in this- you literally can't do it. I've worn it around the house as a waist trainer but also out as a "spanks" style waist cincher under a cocktail dress. In either case, it does not bunch, roll, twist, or move at all. The plasticky material kind of suctions to your skin and stays right where you put it when you first put it on, so make sure it's exactly where you want it before you fasten the 30+ hooks. There are no weird lumps anywhere once wearing it, and the boning does no stick out strangely (as it does on some other waist cinchers and long-line bra/corsets I've tried). I've even worn it under a tshirt and jeans, and it feels awesome! The waist of my jeans feels so loose with it on, like I've instantly lost 10 pounds. It works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do: visibly takes pounds off my middle. It looks new after almost 6 months of use about once a week. The only slightly critical thing I can say about this is I would like if it came up higher in back (above the bra "back fat" line), but I don't know how this could possibly be accomplished with the front staying under your chest. Highly recommend!

The fit around the waist is good, I ordered the extra small and I am 5'3" and about 128 lbs pear shape, but it is too long for my torso and digs into my lower breasts and my tail bone a bit. It is very difficult for me to sit in it for this reason, but I am able to stand in it just fine.Maybe a petite version for us vertically challenged women would fit the bill a little better. It works for reducing the tummy bulge while you are wearing it and for a couple of hours afterwards, but so far after about 3 days I haven't noticed any changes that stick, but I will continue to use it for the next couple of weeks and update my review. It does make it very difficult to eat too much if you wear it during your meals - this helps keep your portions small if you are trying to lose weight, but I only wear it for a few hours each day because of the torso issue.
