Not for food or medicine?
Only problem is i made the mistake of reading the package. It states in small writing below everything else,"Do not use blue lettering packets for food or medication"But that is the only purpose i have for these.I dont understand why it states that on the package. Says nothing about that on the product itsself.Makes me wary of the company.Allthough i love this product i will find another vender to buy them from. After reading the package first if at all possable.

Magic beads that saved me hundreds of dollars!
My teenager recently got her first job, at a fast food place. her first month of pay almost went to a replacement for her iphone after a mishap with a hot, steaming food basket. It was completely dead. I placed the phone in a zip lock bag full of these desiccant beads for 24 hours and it is back up and running. Thank you to those who wrote the detailed reviews about how they used the product to save their electronics, very helpful.

Keep it fresh!
I bought these desiccants because my cereal, crackers, other dry foods were getting stale so fast over the summer. I pop one of these babies in the container, and boom!! No stale crackers, no stale pretzels. I am maybe slightly obsessed with these packs. I put them in everything: my powder laundry detergent, with my sterling silver jewelry, in a box with memorabilia. Just a really easy way to keep things dry.

Perfect!
These are great for adding into a storage container for 3D printing filament! When filament is opened from the package and not in use (ex: sitting out on your desk/worktable), sometimes it can absorb the moisture in the air and it can cause issues in your print quality. I, personally, like to keep different colors of filament for my 3D printer on-hand so I'm not ordering filament every other time I want something printed in a different color. Keeping my spools of filament in some storage containers and adding these to the container can help eliminate the moisture issue and keep my 3D prints as consistent as possible when it comes to the filament I'm using.10/10. Would buy again.Pros:- It helps keep 3D printing filament dry.- Cheap for the amount of packets you get.- Individual packets. You can put them in multiple places, or spread them around a container to cover more space.Cons:- They kinda smell bad, but I wouldn't expect anything else from a product designed to absorb moisture

Takes the moisture out of electronics!
My waterproof camera got water inside it and the lens fogged up and some settings quit working. I put it in a ziploc bag with some of these silica packets and it worked like new in no time! I had tried rice before purchasing these, but it didn't cut it. I also used them for my sons watch that had fogged up on him, worked like a charm. I have the rest on hand in the event that we ever have a mishap with a cell phone or anything else.

So awesome I wish I'd bought more!
I use these packets to keep my guitar and basses dry because my parents run a swamp cooler night and day in the summer which brings the humidity up to 60% in the house (we live in a semi-arid climate, so that's really significant), and I can feel the grains swell in my fretboard that's unfinished. I can pop 4-5 of these in each case and they bring it back down to the 40-50% inside the case it should be very quickly. My only regret is that I bought too few (a pack of 50). I think I'll be getting the 200 pack next time since I ran through all 50 packets in just two months and it's time to recharge them all way sooner than I thought.Edit: Please be sure to move them around to different areas inside the case every 1-2 days if you're using them for instruments, otherwise you'll dry one area and not get others, which can result in your instrument being wet at extreme ends of the case and bone dry in the middle if you've only got them in the supply box. If you're not sure what's dry or not, you can smell all over your instrument to detect moisture levels (even through the finish) so long as it's not waxed. Yes, I'm a bit weird, but compare it to bread coming straight out of the oven with steam when you cut into it vs. bread that's been sitting on the counter for a week and is dry. Your nose can detect moisture, too, not just smells.

Incorrect/misleading description and/or labeling
Description/answers from mfg/seller indicate can be recharged in microwave. Just got the package, and a sticker has been placed over the microwave instructions on the bag saying they can NOT be recharged in the microwave, only in an oven. The bag label also says "Blue indicating... NOT recommended for food or medication," but the ORANGE indicating that I ordered is supposed to be safe for food... Confusing, misleading, not confident in anything they say now. Some of this is possibly due to the HATED Amazon practice of putting multiple DIFFERENT products on one product page, but the product package itself has conflicting labeling and stick-on replacement info.

Just what I needed!
I was looking for these since I'm storing some of my books, and it makes me feel a lot better about doing so since I can throw a couple of these in the container with them. I collect manga, and I'd be severely upset if my books got ruined by humidity getting into the storage container. Throwing in a few of these makes me feel a lot more at ease. Will definitely buy again if I find that I need more.
