Nice kit that comes with extra bolts in case you break or loose some. Many are just replacements for the ones you unscrew. Seems odd but why not just replace them just in case of wear. The Indian online instructions states you need to have their Digital Wrench II software flash the control module to activate the lights. For my bike, the included DL button lights up red, but the actual lights won’t come on yet. Dealer will charge whatever they want to flash it. I had local dealer tell me $90 and 90 minutes while another dealer farther way said $45 and 15-20 mins, they do it while you wait. Installation took a while as some of the instructions were unclear to me. Like where to route the light power wire from the light, out of the light cover and through the lower housing. I wish they color coded the wire in their diagrams so you can clearly see where the wire routes. Another issue was the plug for the DL light button in the kit. Instructions say the plug will pop out by pushing from the inside. It was in there real good. There’s two tabs that keep it in place. I couldn’t get my non-marring pry bars to press it in. I had to take a leap of faith and use a wrap get extension bar and a Malloy to whack the plug from the back side. I was afraid this would crack the faring. Luckily it didn’t. I heard a couple cracking sounds but that was the plugs tabs breaking and then it came out. No damage to the faring cut out. I would still do it myself vs paying the dealer as I do some work on bikes and have tools and like saving $.
