I’m writing another review on this product because I called the manufacturer of this toy and explained that it didn’t work. They were very helpful. They sent me a new megaphone a few days later that works perfectly.

If you know someone you absolutely cannot stand and they have a child, buy them this toy. It works great and will wake the dead. If you are truly into self inflicted torture, then you definitely should buy your child this toy. Your ears will ring and you will wish yourself deaf. If you really want to add to the torture then you should buy more than one. That way they will cross each other and make an ear piercing screach that will make your ears bleed for weeks! Great fun for the whole family, added bonus you get to annoy the nasty neighbors.

I purchased the megaphone as an accessory for my daughter's Halloween costume. It came quickly. It is a very small toy- probably intended for a child around 4-5 years of age. BUT, this thing is LOUD. The siren is LOUD. The neighbors now hate us. All dogs within 5 miles hate us. It takes 4 double A batteries which are not included. It is a very simple design. They are certainly making a profit as far as actual toy quality, but my daughter loves it and it serves its purpose. It will have to disappear after Halloween somehow--

What a disappointment!! I bought 2 of these for my twin grand daughters birthday. The boxes appeared to be in perfect condition so I didnt bother opening them up to check so I didnt realize they were broken with buttons missing in the box until the girls opened them at their birthday party. Both items got tossed in the trash. Dont waste your you money.

I ordered this for my 5 yr old nephew who is very into police & first responder items (like his father). I think the grown men at the party had more fun, but my nephew really enjoyed it once he got it back Lol. It has a nice variety of sounds and can be VERY LOUD. I'm so glad I ordered it! It was a big hit!

My son didn’t get to play with it much because he kept hitting the place where the batteries go and batteries were always falling out. They need to make it so the batteries don’t fall out so easily. Other than that it is made well and he loved it until he kept hitting the place where the batteries go. It’s super easy to hit and it shouldn’t be so easy

So if you decide to purchase this for your child it will be their favorite toy for quite some time. Our son who is 5 loved this and used it in addition to his cop costume for Halloween last year. It is LOUD but so much fun for him.
