Pace International Dish Wally Receiver with 1TB DVR External Hard Drive

I wanted something to record my favorite shows for when I was unable to watch them. I am in an RV for the winter and needed a small receiver because of the minimum space I had. This fits my needs. It looks a bit different on screen from my other Dish receivers but easy to figure out. Easy to set up too and Dish support was very helpful during the activation process.

Installed it on my Silverton 392 Motor Yacht. Of course I can only used it while it's tied up at dock but that's exactly what I was looking for

I wanted a second Wally for our bedroom in our RV. We have one in the living room that works great. After receiving the second Wally I spent hours on the phone with tech support from Dish trying to make it work. It was simply a defective unit but I could not get it replaced. I ultimately returned but had to pay the return shipping. It was not the sellers problem but they didn't really help either. So I'm out 12 hours of time on the phone with various Dish support people and $20 in shipping costs. We will live with just the one. I don't want to thru that again.

The external hard drive will not work without an external power supply. Dish Network was at my camper today and advised of this.

Just remember you can't watch a show and have another show recording
