He has created all the projects, some over and over, and come up with creations of his own. Of all the Lego I've bought him, this little set is the one he gets out almost every day. The book that comes with the set is excellent. The paper projects for the gadgets require nothing extra except a glue stick, although on some projects we found double sided tape is a little easier to work with and is quicker than waiting for glue to dry.
