Review: Worth its weight in gold! - This has to be one of the best books I have ever purchased for cookery. This book has everything you need! from making stocks, making pasta, different styles of potatoes, deserts, pastry, sauces, the list goes on and on. Each section is very informative and precise. The chef i work with has an older version of this book and he actually prefers this edition as it has plenty of pictures. (He got his in the 80's). If youre studying cookery, Work as a chef, in the kitchen or even a budding cook at home this book is invaluable!

This has to be one of the best books I have ever purchased for cookery. This book has everything you need! from making stocks, making pasta, different styles of potatoes, deserts, pastry, sauces, the list goes on and on. Each section is very informative and precise. The chef i work with has an older version of this book and he actually prefers this edition as it has plenty of pictures. (He got his in the 80's). If youre studying cookery, Work as a chef, in the kitchen or even a budding cook at home this book is invaluable!
