This remarkable, mechanically sound pocket watch is embedded with a John F. Kennedy half dollar coin colorized with a detailed image of the RMS Titanic. The reminiscent picture on the face of the coin stands as a tribute to the tragedy of the ship and all of its passengers lost in the fatal impact during the early hours of April 15th, 1912.

Classy remembrance of RMS Titanic
The watch has a high quality appearance, with nice scroll work on front and back. The colorization of the coin is striking. The JFK head is not really visible until you tilt the watch and the light hits it at an angle, then the head is more pronounced. I bought this to wear with my tuxedo to commemorate my first voyage aboard the Queen Victoria, for a roaring twenties theme party.The only thing this company needs to improve on is including some sort of literature for the watch. When I received it, I automatically assumed it needed to be wound, as most pocket watches. I sat there winding and winding, wondering why it never felt like it was winding up. I sat staring at the watch, perplexed. It did not feel like the spring was tightening, yet there it was, second hand ticking away, five hours kept accurately so far. Then I noticed 'Quartz' on the bottom of the dial. It operates electrically, not by a spring! Even better, now I don't have to remember to wind it every day.

it's a lot prettierin hand than it looked on screen.
I liked getting a fob chain and neck chain so it can be used either way.I'm using it for display in my Titanic collection collection. I haven't made a habit of keeping it wound and is a little heavier than I prefer to wear around my neck. I'd recommend it to watch and Titanic memorabilia collectors.They wouldn't be disappointed, but extremely pleased.

We put it through the wash and it’s still ticking. The cord is chinsy and the emblem is not secured well.

first one broken, second one also broken
You get what you pay for, this is a cheap watch for a child so the first one the hands were completely loose and broken so had to return it. Second one came and the "coin" was not attached. I can glue it, and will, since this is a gift for my grandson and not for an adult. But it is really cheap so just be warned.
