I wanted to make sure they are eating ok in the cat room. And also my one cat doing to the litter box ok, as he had some issues with them after my husband mistakenly cleaned them with Mr. Clean.I can look at the videos of during the night and see how they are doing.It’s funny to also watch them in night vision and when the one is rolling around in catnip.It’s small so it’s easy to move the device. I want to also monitor other areas of my home so will be moving it other places as well.It is wired so needs a plug in. I also like that I don’t need a subscription. I can watch live and older videos. And when the three months free subscription ends I can still do that. Leagues better than those cheap $10 ones that are all over. The image is crisp and clear. Vivid color, even in the dark when the built-in LED flashlight is turned on. Otherwise it still uses IR to see in the dark without the light function. The alerts I get on my phone are almose instant when it's armed and detects motion. Even has 2 way communication. Although the speaker on the unit isn't the best, it still works. The APP is really well done and connection was a breeze. And this is considered to be an affordable option. And for the price, it blows most others at the same price range out of the water.
