Item as described and works perfect. The remote is older and worn looking from what I expected. Battery case is very scarred.

The Youtube video ( apparently created by the company seeling the device)How to Program a Replacement Honda Keyless Entry Remote Key FobeKeyfobs.com[...]emphasized the position II ( *2*) that one shouldonly turn the key to for programming the HondaPilot key replacement.You should make *sure* to not advance past position II (*2*) !!!I was inadvertantly going past to the position III (*3*),the spring-loaded position that one "rests" the key at,before actually rotating momentarily further clock-wiseto power the starter & other ignition circuit portionsto begin to start the vehicle engine.The difference is *critical* to correctly programming a replacement key!(And unfortunately easy to make as a mistake when you can't directlysee the ignition switch with your eyes during the process unless lying downon the job, <grin>..)- marhn

It works fine and I programmed it myself my wife loves it and it is a handy thing to have.

I was skeptical of this item. I read on other users that some of these transmitters were used and difficult to program. The dealership wanted $120.00 to provide the transmitter and to program it. I paid $40 with this seller and had it programed with in five minutes (four of the minutes was reading the instructions). The item received was brand new (at least it appeared so). I am quite satisfied, might order a few more just to have on hand.

Followed the instructions that came with the remote, and it worked like a charm. It's been about a month and no problems whatsoever. Just to be clear it's a used remote wth some scratches, but works just fine. I have a 2004 Honda Pilot.

Works great - no issues at all. Took two times programming it to make it work, but then it has worked like a charm ever since.Purchased for a used car that did not come with one.
