Review: disappointing software, hardware is OK - Just a few thoughts: I received a previously returned product, no documentation, items just placed into a the box, -1 star for that. 4 stars for the hardware though, it's bright and works. The app -- I cannot get it to detect the device. The bluetooth settings on my android device does see the device; pairing never completes that way either. -2 stars for the poorly functioning app. Looking forwards to reverse engineering it's protocol and making it work properly.

Just a few thoughts: I received a previously returned product, no documentation, items just placed into a the box, -1 star for that. 4 stars for the hardware though, it's bright and works. The app -- I cannot get it to detect the device. The bluetooth settings on my android device does see the device; pairing never completes that way either. -2 stars for the poorly functioning app. Looking forwards to reverse engineering it's protocol and making it work properly.
