I’m an engineer, and I wanted a one inch mic for various home projects. I took it in to the metrology lab at work, and ran it over various standards, from .250 to 1 inch. I had to use the supplied wrench to tweak it .0001 (one ten-thousandth of an inch), and it tracked smoothly and with perfect accuracy across it’s full range of motion. Along with the completely square and true carbide faces and the totally accurate vernier scale on the back, I would have to say it’s the equal of any micrometer I’ve used in 40 years. Again, I’m totally blown away by the quality and price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accurate Hobbiest Micrometer *by W***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2020* I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy of this micrometer. I hadn't expected it to live up to the claimed accuracy of 0.0001 inches. After adjusting the 0 point and vernier scale (they were only a hair off out of the box), I tested the Anytime with several gage blocks, and they were all spot on the mark. Even the 1 inch block tested perfect. How long this micrometer will hold up over time, remains to be seen. Generally, you get what you pay for. A heavy duty user, like a machinist, should probably buy a Starrett or Mitutoyo micrometer, with proven dependability, rather than expect an Anytime to hold up for all time. Yet, a hobbiest, who only uses a micrometer occasionally, should be more than happy with this micrometer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by K***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2018* Great caliper to measure anything. Used this on my 2006 toyota matrix when doing valve clearance. Had to measure each bucket lifter to replace with new ones. Measurement were pretty spot on with the stated thickness of lifter from toyota so I'm gonna say these worked perfect. Will invest in bigger ones later. NOTE: Watched YouTube videos on how to use this. Insturctions were not nearly given to use.
