Great cooking appliance
It’s early in my ownership of this air fryer but so far I’m thrilled with it.I ordered this particular one as it was the only one I could find with a ceramic and not a Teflon coating and am glad I did. So far nothing even tries to stick to it.With very little oil I t browns evenly. Food comes out crispy outside and moist inside. Last night I cooked a whole 4.75 lb. chicken in just over an hour without heating up the whole kitchen. And it turned out like a nicely prepared rotisserie chicken. This appliance is easy to use and a snap to clean. You generally need to flip things only once when cooking with it so your time is freed up without the usual cooking vigil. My only complaints are that the presets for anyone without perfect vision, except for the fish icon, are nearly impossible to see and the temperature and time displays are left right but their corresponding controls are right left. Small thing which you get used to.Package arrived super quick and packaged well.I hope that this product wears well and lasts a long long time for I am just loving it now.P. S. Order a larger size than you think you need; food items should have space between them so surface area get used up quickly. This one is good for two to maybe four people.

Quit working after 10 uses. Beware of this Chinese junk.
Used it maybe 10 times over a 2 month span and it completely quit. It wont turn on or do anything. I have no idea what happened other than its just poorly made. Love the ceramic but its not worth it and having to insert the cheap plastic handle into the basket is a little annoying. Buy American if possible. Ive emailed Louise Sturhling and gotten no response at all and that was 6 weeks ago. ive been advised that [email protected] is not a working email ,,, ive been trying to get in touch with her since sept 18/2020 i would like a refund are replacement i paid $105.94 please reply to barbara meahan [email protected]

Perfect, No- Better Than Most, Yes
I spent literally an entire day reading reviews and watching videos of air fryers before deciding on this one. It was worth the time and effort. Finding one that was made of ceramic and free of chemicals (PFOA, PTFE & BPA) is practically like finding the holy grail. One of my biggest worries was that there would be a strong smell of plastic while cooking. That came up in numerous reviews of other air fryers and my sister in-law returned one for this reason. I didn’t see that complaint very much in the reviews on this one. My own experience was the first time I used it there was a minor whiff of plastic in the air, but it was gone by the second or third use. It cooks beautifully and I have tried numerous things. Fish, tempura battered shrimp, frozen french fries and even pizza. Everything has come out flawlessly. It is also very easy to use, cleans like a dream, and not terribly noisy, which was a complaint that I found to be a common theme in several others that I looked at. I have to ding it one star for two reasons. The first is that the pictures for one touch cooking are extremely hard to decipher and look like something a toddler might draw during Pictionary. The second is that while the company is nice enough to include a couple of free gifts, a Teflon chemical laden pizza pan is not useful. I can’t really understand why they would go to the trouble of making sure the air fryer is made of chemical free ceramic, but not the pieces that they include with it. Free gift or not, it should still be of good quality and safe. I threw it away. The other piece that they include is a pair of silicone tongs. The quality on these is much better and I get a lot of use out of them. All in all a good purchase, and an excellent fryer.

I like the convenience of cooking in it
I like the convenience of cooking in it, and I especially like the easy clean up. I can usually get it clean with just a quick rinse. If anything sticks on the bottom (like BBQ sauce for example), just put some warm water and a drop of dish soap and let it soak for a few minutes, it then rinses right out! Wipe dry with a paper towel or air dry. Easy! The other thing I like about it is the simplicity of using it.One thing you should know is that the measurements are not the same as the description in the product information here. The box it came in was 14" by 14." It really only measures about 11 and a half inches tall and wide (give or take) add a couple of inches in the front for the handle of the pot. I was hesitant to purchase it at first because of the measurements in the description, but I am happy to say that it is compact and does not take up a lot of counter space. It is the perfect size for preparing a meal for one or two people, or a side dish. I like that I can make smaller portions and just throw a few potatoes in there, or roast some veggies without having to use my large oven. Since I'm just cooking for two people, it seems wasteful to make one or two baked potatoes in my regular oven. Plus the air fryer cooks in less time and doesn't heat up the whole kitchen on a hot summer day!I wanted to mention that this is my first air fryer, so I haven't had the experience to compare it to others. I was interested in this particular air fryer because they made it a point that it was BPA-FREE, PTFE & PFOA-FREE, which was very important to me since I have a pet parrot. A lot of other brands just say "non-stick" and don't mention that they have Teflon which is deadly for birds (and not so great for humans either). I am happy to say that my parrot is alive and well and also enjoying some of the food I've made with this air fryer. The only down side is that as I mentioned above, this is my first air fryer and I don't have a lot of experience yet. I am experimenting with different vegan recipes and trying to adjust the temperature and timing to see what works and what doesn't. So far I have been successful with roasted potatoes with red peppers & onions, corn on the cob, pita bread veggie pizza, and jackfruit taquitos, to name a few. I also understand that this product can cook frozen prepared foods, as well as reheat leftovers, though I haven't tried that yet. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful dishes I can make with this handy product, but even if it were just potatoes and corn on the cob (which I eat a lot) it would totally be worth the purchase. Even though I was a little apprehensive at first (because I get nervous with trying new things) I am very happy I bought this!
