OK, But Read the Fine Print
I like the machine, but you should understand it does turn out to be quite expensive. Read the fine print ~ it will cost $100 every 3 months to replace the filters and ~ AHEM ~ so-called "diamond tip". Diamond dust? MAYBE. Anyway ~ it works fine. I use it every day and do notice a little ~ No, not a magical , fabulous, miraculous improvement ~ just a little one. Have been using this every day for the past month on the lowest setting, and I think I see a little improvement. Perhaps the lowest setting is too low, though ~ think I'll increase it. Please don't expect this to take care of your scars, deep wrinkles or sun-damaged areas. Nonsense. This is a tube with a rough edge and a little suction. Get real with that. It can exfoliate. Nothing more. You will not "lose years" off your face. I like it, and I use it, but would not have bought it if I had known how little it actually does and how much it was going to cost me every 3 months for replacement materials.

BROKEN, BROKEN, BROKEN
What more can I say; they shipped me a device that was not put together well and arrived broken. The manufacturer promised full return of product and failed to deliver. Amazon did allow me to return the machine. Too much money, too flimsy of a machine, and poor poor quality.

Poor Quality, Overpriced
I was very disappointed in this $315 item. It was cheaply made and the documentation is a xeroxed piece of paper that you can hardly read without a magnifying glass. Written by someone who does not know English very well. I gave myself one treatment, and it was not even close to the microdermabrasion you get in a salon. I have returned it and will try the NuBrilliance. This is the first time I have relied on Amazon reviewers and found them to be misleading, IMHO. The seller has issued a credit quickiy through Amazon and I didn't have to pay for return shipping. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of just 1.

The real deal
I used this for the first time yesterday and am very pleased so far. I have purchased (and returned) both the Personal Microderm and Nubrilliance systems and find this far superior. The Personal Microderm system uses abrasive discs and suction - while I do think it's effective, it's also potentially more damaging and seems less safe for home use. If you stay on one spot too long, you could literally create an open and raw area. While all machines of this type pose some risk of irritation, it's far harder to control the results with the Personal Microdermabrasion system than Timepeel, in my opinion.Nubrilliance has a similar idea to Timepeel, but Timepeel executed it better. The main difference is the tip - Timepeel supplies just one, but it can be used all over the face. Nubrilliance provides 3 tips - one for the face/larger areas in both medium and coarse grits, and a small tip meant for the nose and other small areas. Be warned - the small tip does not create enough suction to work properly - it is a design flaw.Back to Timepeel. The one tip they supply works for the whole face and provides good suction everywhere. The filter assembly makes more sense than the one on Nubrilliance and the suction is so effective, it actually removed blackheads - I was astonished at the results in my nose area.As with all machines of this type, will get better results over time, but I do believe I see a difference after just one treatment.Lastly, I must remark on one of the other reviewer's comments - at twice a week usage (the maximum they recommend), they enclose enough filters for months of use so I don't know where the $100 per month figure is coming from for supplies. The tip will eventually need to be replaced, and new filters purchased, but I think that cost estimate is way off. Bottom line, I think this is the best machine of its type, In this price range, on the market.

CAN BE FOUND CHEAPER ON AMAZON BY OTHER
Would have given it 5 stars if I didn't find out (as I went to write review) that it is about $60.00 cheaper by another distributer on Amazon. I like they way it works, but it is obviously over priced by these guys.

Timepeel Review
I have been using timepeel for last two months. Before purchasing the product I read some reviews about timepeel. Many of the people using timepeel use it daily, but it's not something that should be used daily. Infact, in the very booklet itself, it's clearly mentioned that although timepeel can be used once or twice a week, people with sensitive skin should use it once in 2-3 weeks. I don't have sensitive skin but still I use it once in 2-3 weeks because excessive microdermabrasion may result in thickening the texture of the skin. Peeling effect works best when peeling is followed by proper facial massage with moisturisers. Same is true for this product also. It smoothens the fine lines and all, but please don't expect a miraculous effect. If you use the product according to the guidelines shown in the instruction manual, I think it will be safer. Personally, I like it because the dead skins when removed brings about a shine in the face. I used to do facial in the parlour once a month and now I do it at home, thanks to timepeel.
