Goldenrod Hardcover – 21 Sept. 1978

I loved this book as a child; the boy was blind and his guide dog helped him. I had a Golden labrador dog but if I remember correctly, the dog in this story is a Golden Retriever. No matter; it was a great story. Easy to read and enjoyable. There was a sequel too.

This book is great to read to kids to when you want to open their minds and get ready to read chapter books. It really opens their minds and excites them. :-)
