Not Sure Mine is the Right One but...
I just received one of these or at least one that looks very similar and came with the EWK packaging. The problem is that the hex nut attached to the top is NOT 27 mm as it's been described here. My 27 mm socket is much looser than it should be. There is no EWK etched or stamped on the top as seen in the images. Could I have received one that is different but was returned in the EWK packaging? I don't know.Edit: I went out today to see if I could find a six point socket that fit the head of this wrench better but without success. 27 mm or 1 1/16 both are too loose. The next size smaller wouldn't fit. 1 inch was too small and I could not find a 26 mm or a 1-1/32 inch socket in a local store so I ordered a 26 mm socket from Amazon. It should arrive in a few days. Will edit this review when it does.Edit 01/02/2020: The results are seen in my brief video. A 26 mm socket fits the oil filter cap wrench much better than the specified 27 mm does.

high quality looking wrench
There are alot of wrenches to chose from on Amazon. I chose this wrench for the price and because the seller took the time the let people know how to use it and I quote "The Oil Filter Wrench Is Suggested To Use With A 3/8 Inch Drive For Tightening And A 27mm Socket For Loosening." Most of the wrenches are made of cast aluminum and will break if you use the 3/8" drive to take the oil filter housing off when it is too tight. The wrench is very good quality and the manufacturer even put a sticker on the wrench saying not to use the 3/8" drive to loosen the filter housing. I should work great , Toyota just changed my oil and I won't need it until next year. I know I am making it sound like I am not a real buyer but I truly am and I couldn't be happier with the wrench.

Well...it worked
Okay, so I bought this tool to use on a 2011 Toyota Corolla 1.8 engine. This tool fit very tight on the plastic cap that holds the oil filter. I had to use a ball pein hammer to tap the tool to allow the tool to fully grasp the plastic cap. If you look at the tool, you'll notice that each side of the tool has three notches. Now before doing this, make sure the teeth on the black plastic oil cap align within the notches on one side of the tool. I noticed the black plastic cap has three (3) teeth on one side, while the other side of the black cap has only one (1) tooth. What made mine challenging is I could only see the one tooth, and could not see the other three teeth due to them out of my sight. Therefore I did not know how to line up this tool. For the single tooth, I lined that particular tooth in the center notch of the tool, remember there's three notches in each side of this tool, so it doesn't matter which side you pick, thankfully the three tooths on the black oil cap lined up perfectly within the notches on the tool. Again, I was not able to see this, because the three teeth on the black cap were not in my line of sight. So as long as you line up the single tooth on the black oil cap, with the center notch on the tool, the three teeth on the black cap will automatically fall within the notches on the tool, and of course vice versa. Remember to use a 26 mm socket with this tool. Although you can fit a 3/8 rachet in the center of this tool, I heard it's not a good idea. From my experience the black plastic oil cap was extremely tight, and by using the 26 mm socket, I do believe it assisted me tremendously due to me having to tap the rachet with a rubber mallet. Just keep tapping the rachet with mallet, and the black cap will come undone. I had to use some needle nose pliers with the 90° tip to allow me to use has a claw, while I tapped the tool with a ball pein hammer to allow me to remove the tool off the black oil cap. The tool was on the very tight, and there was no way I'd be able to remove the tool off of the oil cap with just my fingers. As stated in the title, this tool works, but be prepared to have to struggle a bit when it comes to putting on, and removing the tool from the oil cap due to the tool being a tad too small. Hope this review helps.

Junk China tolerances
Could have been a decent tool t a fair price but the junk won’t fit because the inside is too small. I had to go across town and buy a $35 tool at napa to get the job done before a long road trip. So annoyed!!

Great Tool - Just Us It Right "GET THE CORRECT SOCKET"
Okay, I have used this tool on a 2010 Camry LE, 2011 Corolla S, and 2012 LE Camry, can you tell I am a Toyota guy? it worked great on all 3. As I have seen stated else where, the car dealerships seem to take joy in making shade tree mechanics life miserable and will tighten the canister to the point you can barely get it off. The typical torque requirement to install the canister is like 20 to 30 foot pounds not 90. The torque required to install the canister is molded into the top of the oil canister. As others have said, if you use a 3/8" drive socket on the tool you will likely break the tool, get the correct metric socket. I believe it is a 24 or 27 mm. Some of these tools I have seen no longer have the 3/8" socket built in, it is very tempting, but don't use it. Take the time and make sure you lineup the tool correctly with the notches in the tool with the tabs on the canister and fully engage the tool with the canister. You will probably need to gently tap the tool to get it off the canister after removing or installing the canister.
