Pros: well packaged. Functions as advertised: lenses screw into spring loaded clips that one must then align with the phone lens. I am into high end Nikon pro-camera equipment but don’t lug that around on vacation tours that are not photography oriented. Traveling light with my iPhone s and this kit is better than even my mirrorless Fuji. This kit will easily fit in one pocket. Tripod is adequate for size. The remote paired and works.Cons: there is no self centering adapter to help align on the phone and no rear lens cap for the smaller lenses. The tripod could be a steadier device if the legs speed 10 deg more. Telephoto requires manual focus, as advertised but inconvenient for point and shoot.

the description says it works on iphone X, it does not. I attach the telephoto lens and get no picture. X camera is oblong, this lens has an opening that is round. Also, macro and wide angle lenses are attached together and I couldn't figure out how to get them apart. had to use pliersHowever, I gave it to my daughter to use on her iPhone 7 and it worked great.

Firstly, I own an iPhone 7 plus and the bulge on the camera section of the phone makes it cumbersome to clip on the lens in a way to maintain the lenses flat and flush. In addition, the phone is equipped with two camera lenses, which also caused a problem. I therefore dug out an old iPhone 4 for testing.Fisheye Lens: Be careful when handling this one. The lens is in three parts and may disassemble when you remove it from the clip if screwed too tightly. Even though the iPhone 4 is flat, I could not get it to align in a way that did not produce a vignette effect when taking a photo. However, it does take very cool looking psychedelic pictures.Telephoto Lens: This one really needs the tripod or to otherwise be held steadily. If hand held, it will produce a watery effect, especially if there is motion or windy outdoor conditions. In low light situations, the magnified image will pixelate. Speaking of the tripod, the leg extensions do not lock so a larger and heavier phone may tip over if the extensions cannot support the weight.Wide Angle Lens: My experience with this lens is similar to the fisheye lens except that I do not get the vignette effect. The photos are much clearer. Also, note that the wide-angle lens is attached to and combined with the very shallow macro lens.Macro Lens: This is by far the most impressive of the lenses. The only downside is that it is very difficult to detach (unscrew) from the wide-angle lens. I needed to use two pairs of needle nose pliers just to get the two lenses apart. While most phone cameras cannot take up-close photos of tiny items, this lens takes very detailed pictures. This is very useful to take detailed pictures of jewelry or rare coins for example. I was very happy with the results of this particular lens.One thing to note about the lenses and clips, the threads on the clips are made of plastic but the threads on the lenses are metallic. This means you must be very careful when attaching the different lenses to the clip otherwise, you may accidentally strip the plastic threads.

To reiterate what some of my fellow reviewers also said - The lenses, remote and stand come well packed. The threading on the lenses are micro and you have to have patience in putting them together with the clip. I would have been nice to have lens covers on both sides, it seems to be a trend since I purchased similar items from another manufacturer. The remote easily pared to my phone and then to my iPad, lenses work the same on both although I had to remove the cases to get the clip adapter to attach. If out and about, make sure to keep the lenses wrapped in a microfiber or lens cloth to keep them from scratching. I used a standard side tripod and also hand held to test with since the miniature tripod could only hold the phone on a desktop. Overall a great product!

I was excited to receive this lens as I thought I would be able to get some better zoom quality photos versus using my digital zoom. I was greatly disappointed when the 12x lens didn't work at all. It would not zoom or focus on anything no matter how hard I tried. The wide angle lens and the fisheye worked well on the other hand. The clips that you attach the lenses to don't stay in place at all even though they seem fairly tight, any bit of force (or weight from the big lens) will make them move enough and defeat the purpose and have to reset everything. Also, upon inserting one of the lenses into the clip. it didn't thread in correctly and cross-threaded so bad it wont even work anymore because the threads are plastic all around and very weak. The best part of it that I enjoyed is the wireless clicker. Setup is very easy and it works like a charm. I will definitely be using it for future photos and videos along with the little tripod. The tripod grips the phone very well so it wont go anywhere and the legs have good grip for various surfaces. If your looking for a camera lens kit with good lens quality, don't go with this. I am glad the tripod and the clicker work, but it would have been great if the lenses and the threading on the clips were better made.

Wanted this for my upcoming road trip so that I would not need to bring a camera, it will work for that purpose. Pictures are decent but not excellent, but for the price they are ok. The included pouch is only large enough for the lens and clips, will not hold the tripod and phone holder, so you will need to find something else to carry those in. The tripod is decent as is the remote, they both function as stated. Again for the price you are getting a decent setup.Would have preferred a case that could hold everything together.
