Yes, the Lowepro Nova 200 AW II will fit over the trolley handle of most suitcases.

Is there any way to carry a tripod with this bag?

No. there is a slot in the back of the bag that you can slip a tripod into, but it will just fall to the floor. There are 2 little pockets on the side of the bag, but there is nothing to attach the tripod to to keep it upright, it’ll just flop over. When I need to bring my tripods to a job, I'll bring my backpack style camera bag. This has a tripod holder on the bottom of the bag, and you just snake the tripod in the mesh lining. This works fantastic and it never falls or slips out. The bag is decent. It’ll hold my D750 w/am attached lens, plus another lens and some gadgets (flash, GPS tracker, etc) and plenty of small compartments for SD cards, USB cables, remote clickers, etc, but no tripod holder.
