Ham Radio Bench Mount Rack Stack or Holder

Very nicely done! And arrived very quickly. I think they shipped before I even ordered, but I can't prove it. I even pinged the proprietor asking if they cut the legs at an angle, so it will have a rake like a 51 Mercury. Nooop! I popped it together in a few minutes, and fine business. It will come apart easily if I decide I need to have the front higher than the rear. I'll just clamp the legs together, mark 'em, and hit 'em with a saw. Should be easy and come out nice.I put some rubber feet on the bottom so it doesn't scuff my table top, and stays put when I'm scattering stuff around doing some homebrew project. Which I should be doing now, instead of writing reviews that'll never be read. 73, Charlie

Very pleased. I am a "modest" ham. I.E. I don't have a room full of radio equipment. I "may", have 3 radios at once in my "shack" but see no possibility I will ever (due to $$ and personal temperament) have more. This little thing fits my needs perfectly.I have my dual band installed underneath the top, like their example pictures show, and a 450D underneath. I have an external speaker sitting on top, along with my note pad and SWR meter sits beside it. My straight key fits next to the 450D like it was in a garage. I can use it there, or pull it out. Makes things much neater. I have a pair of mic hangers on order that I will mount on the side. See attached.

Easy to put together ,15 minutes, My completed unit with radios looks almost exactly like the photo. Some reports about the "ugly" two holes that are not used are no problem I made two blocks of wood fashioned into "L" and bolted through the holes ,one for each side on the outside of the bench. This is where I hang the microphones , on the left is the 2 meter 70 cm mic , on the right is the 200 mic.the 2m 70cm mic cord is gently arced up (no strain) and secured with a wire clamp (rubber lined clamp ) to the underside of the top then clamped again to the left keeping the mic cord out of the way and gives it a clean look.It is amazing how the little bench/ stool /seat has transformed my "Ham Shack" MY telegraph key is to the right the keyboard to the left I really like this unit. and recommend it . 73 de. ne4am

This is described at a Ham Radio Bench but it's just a kids stool with absolutely no design modification suited to use with radio gear. The picture of the item implies there is an additional shelf (notice the 2 meter radios), but this is not included. Truly a disappointment!

This will work great for a small HAM set up! The seller shipped it quickly, instructions are more than simple to follow, all the parts you need are in the box, and the physical condition when opened was excellent, not a single machining mar or scratch! I recommend this to anybody looking for a space saving set up.

Not what I expected looks like a piece of junk

The product photo makes this appear to be a ready-to-go bench/mount/rack/stack for your radios, mics, etc.It is, in fact, a re-purposed child "timeout" seat/bench. It appears that when this item is shipped as a "ham radio" bench/mount/rack/stack, the manufacturer simply leaves out one of the connecting rails, so that when this is assembled, you are left with two drill holes on either side of the front part of the unit (and no plastic plugs to fill them in for aesthetic purposes). Not cool.I'm not completely unhappy with this purchase. But you can likely save yourself a few bucks by just going to your local Goodwill or other thrift store and finding a small bench that will work equally well as this.I am, however, a bit annoyed that a somewhat deceptive photo is used to make you think that you are getting something that you are not. I can make this work for the purpose that I intend to use it for, but others who are looking for something exactly like what you see in the product photo should be aware of the deception.

Solid construction. I use this to save space by mounting the radio and amplifier under the top while the power supply and swore better sit underneath the unit. the top shelf allows me to store spare cables and connectors near everything.
