Will work perfectly
Back in 2004 I made up some "dye" boards using a heavy duty plastic sheeting to cover cardboard so I could lay my dyed fabric out flat for it to dry. Over the years, life have been tough on my boards and eventually the plastic sheeting has gotten holes in it or rips, letting the excess dye bleed into the cardboard. Just a week ago I finally found someone who could supply me with some large pieces of heavy duty cardboard, so set out to build new boards and retire the ones I'd had for years.I read in some of the reviews that this plastic sheeting was not clear, but after unrolling enough of it to cover two of my new boards, I'd have to say that if it's NOT clear, it's derned near close.... and perfect for my needs. There's a lot of it in this roll, more than I will need for my new dye boards, but suspect I will find use for the rest also. If necessary for my needs, I would buy again.

Did the job and did it for two years
I bought this to close up one side of my chicken coop built onto the end of my free standing garage. An opening about 10X24 by 6 feet or so deep facing out and I used the plastic as a wind break during the colder months, November through March. I used it two seasons, using furring strips screwed or nailed to brace the plastic. After two years the plastic was still in pretty good shape but was muddy, dirty, streaked and so forth so I tossed it and am starting new this year. It'll go up in a couple of weeks.

Worked well as a window covering
I bought this 4mil to try it out - though I'd have liked 8 mi I had other projects to do that needed 4ml so decided to try this. I wanted to try the 6mil but seemed not to be able to find it when I needed to order. I don't know how well this 4mil will hold up but hoping it will work for 2 winters on some windows. I also intend to try it on the inside of window instead of the shrinky dink type plastic. I think this would work for temporarily covering (1 winter in harsh areas) if necessary and it should hold up as long as it is well secured. I will update this review if necessary.

ALOT better than expected
I stapled this material up to West facing end of my carport to block the wind and sun from my vehicle. I screwed ferring strips over the plastic so the staples wouldn't pull out. My original intention was for this to be used for just the Winter and removed in the Spring. Surprisingly, it held up so well that I left it in place. I have no reason to doubt that it'll survive another Winter w/o a problem.

So far so good
So far the film is holding up much better then normal poly film on my green house. Not confident it will last 4 years in the sun as stated though.

Perfect
Whether you're using it for painting or as a cover for your work area like I do while working with resins, this is a really solid product. Just thick enough to protect well and stand up to foot traffic, just thin enough to cut even with thinner X-acto blades instead of a full sized box cutter blade. Good stuff, well worth the money.
