I got it so I could leave the back door open, but my dog can get out under it, iv had to cut it so it would fit the door as it’s so long and even rolling it up to fit it didn’t work , it just went very loose and fell off the hooks, I sewed the piece I cut off onto the bottom to cover the gap, but unfortunately this hasn’t stopped my dog from going under it. It does work with the other dog, Just it being there stops her from trying to get out, so it does depend on the dog weather it works or not, but need to add it’s no good for a normal size doorway , unless like me you can re- design it.

Decided to order this despite the poor reviews, BIG MISTAKE! This 'gate' using the term loosely is absolute rubbish. Poorly made from cheap inferior materials. The poles for the sides weren't long enough, that was when I'd managed to get them to stay extended and thread then through the holes which were too small! Tried to roll up the excess but was unable to as when you then came to hook it up it fell apart! I needed this item to stop my kitten getting out of the patio door which I wanted to leave open due to hot weather, had to secure with duct tape across the whole door in order for this to work. With hindsight it would have been better and cheaper to buy a piece of material and secure with the duct tape. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

If I could give no stars I would. This is cheaply made badly stitched. The poles even when fully extended are to short. The width is far to wide for most openings. Mine has gone straight in the bin, nothing like advertised.

DO NOT BUY THIS! The poles don't extend the full length of the material and rolling it so reduce its length does not work as it's not rigid enough, it just unravels. Can't even return it as got so frustrated trying to roll it I cut it to the exact length and it was still terrible as when measured the length of each side was also different

The photos include one of a large dog -Retreiver - sitting behind the gate. My husband ordered based on Facebook reviews, didn’t check Amazon reviews! I would be surprised if a 12 week retreiver puppy couldn’t separate the gate from the wall. Incredibly flimsy, hooks held to walls by sticky pads. Seriously!! Not going to even unfold it- certainly no challenge to 2 greyhounds

Flimsy, unstable - any dog would bite through the mesh within minutes. Our tiny miniature dachshund puppy put his teeth through the mesh entirely simply by scraping it with his paw even before we got it fully into position! If we had managed to get it up and fixed in place in tact, he would have put his nose underneath it and crawled through no problem anyway, as there is no means to fix it to the group (or even make it stay on the ground!). Very silly product - cannot image what animal it would keep in.

The poles are collapsible so keep collapsing and very difficult to insert. The bit you thread it through on one side was actually sewn shut. It is 2m wide - you cannot roll it because it makes it loose and even a tiny dog could push through. There are no eyelets for hooking just sewn on plastic loops that unhook/stretch & there is actually one missing off one of the corners. Piece of rubbish!

It’s just terrible. It doesn’t work how it looks in the picture. You can’t move it around as you have to use the one sticker provided to stick hooks to your wall. When I took the sticker off it ripped my paint off the wall. I never got round to returning this so just complete waste of money and would like to save someone else the bigger
