Awesome Sword!
Amazing sword! Perfect for my Ren Fair costume! Lightweight, solid design. Super happy with it! Highly recommend!

Amazing for the money
Great looking, great price. Sword and sheath has withstood 4 weekends of Renaissance abuse without a whimper. Blade is stainless, arrow straight and smooth. It has some lower quality seams on the grip and the blade is ornamental, sheath takes abuse and survives.

Overall a great prop sword!
Overall, I was impressed with this sword, despite its flaws given its price. I bought this sword as a prop for my Renaissance Fair costume and it will work perfectly for that purpose. I can also see it looking really nice hanging up on the wall. :) The blade was a little longer than I expected and that was nice, it was about 31 inches from the tip of the blade to the cross piece. It has some nice weight to it which adds to the realism. The metal felt nice a sturdy and the handle felt great! Like I said, for $38 what more could I ask for! There were some small shortcomings though. First off, the belt is terrible as others have stated; the grommet that holds the loop where the sheath goes broke in 0.2 seconds. However, I was not expecting a belt so it was a nice surprise and I did some McGyvering so it works fine. The blade is a little wobbly which is partly due to the fact that it is not a full tang but instead, a rat-tail tang. That is to be expected from a sword in this price range. By wobbly I don't mean that it feels loose in the handle, what I mean is that if you shake it blade horizontally, it does a little wobbly motion. Again, it is not loose! Also, the fake leather on the scabbard is a bit wrinkly but that doesn't bother me too much. Overall great sword for a great price!

Fantastic piece!
I originally got this sword to carry alongside my Renn Faire costume, and I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality, but I'm pretty wrong. The blade is not sharp and is suuuuuper blunt, but that's fine, I was hoping for that anyway due to fair rules. The grip is amazing, it fits wonderfully in the hand and feels oddly comfortable. The only downside I have found is that it sticks sometimes when you try to draw it from the scabbard, but that might be more user error and less of the product itself. It ALSO came with a cute little belt! I'm stoked I don't have to buy one.

Works as a set piece, that's about it. Was fun to mess around with for a while, and for it's price it isn't bad, just not good by any means.

9/10
It’s a really great decoration. I got this for my step dad for Father’s Day to hang on his wall, and I think that it will suffice its purpose for sure. It definitely wouldn’t have any functionality though. It doesn’t come out of the scabbard easily, and it’s not sharpened at all. It’s still a good decoration.

so with this sword being soooo cost effective I was expecting utter cheesiness and crappy quality (essentially I would have it on my belt ...
To be perfectly honest, I bought this as a part of my Renaissance Festival costume (and I did not want to spend a lot of money). I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so with this sword being soooo cost effective I was expecting utter cheesiness and crappy quality (essentially I would have it on my belt at my side and never take it out of the sheet because I was going for the look and I liked the hilt). As soon as I took this out of the box I was blown away! I must say this is the best bang for my buck out of all my costume elements so far. It is still a "made in china" kind of sword. But! it was muuuch, muuuuuch nicer than I thought it would be. The sword did not giggle in the hilt as I waved it around. The metal seems sturdy and gives a very satisfying weight, and the scabbard is actually pretty nice. The leather strap was cheap, but I took it off and put it on my leather belt (using a leather "frog" sword holder) and it looks great. I highly recommend this sword for anyone trying to make a Renaissance costume and can't spend a load of cash on a real sword. Edge was not sharp, but point can do some damage (so be careful kids).

Surprisingly solid.
I purchased this sword because it seemed like the best for the 💵. When it came i was expecting it to be a bit wobbly but it wasn't. It is a great sword overall, the only problem is that the blade kind of bends to each side as if it were not full tang. It isn't. However you can remove the bottom half of the handle via screw and inside the upper half i can see the blade screwed in. I haven't done it yet (lack of a good socket), but i think i can tighten the blade in there.
