Cool product. Love the rechargeable battery and port actually on light. Only gripe is where charge port is but can definitely work with it. (I keep rubbing my thumb across the cover to the port and popping out the protective cover....I'll adjust) works great with dye even if it's a small leak. White light is bright as hell when under the hood! Would buy again. Warning....ocd wives will use this after cleaning! Warning two....do not use in your teens rooms at night!

I have used it a couple of times and so far it has work very good for finding A/C Leaks.

Works good to find AC freon leak..Also has option as flashlight which is nice feature..would buy again.

The adjustment for the beam is very floppy, the leds are next to each other, one white, one UV so neither points straight. It does work for what is intended so I gave it pretty high marks.

The battery that came with it lasted for two charges and then stopped taking a charge.

Tried to use it to check that my dog is not territorially marking the new carpet. Didn’t work on the spot. Not when it was wet, not when it was dry. No matter what I did. Glasses, no glasses, light on for a while, light off for awhile, wide beam, narrow beam, wet area, dry area. I have a medium brownish/grayish carpet. Not dark, not light. Maybe it doesn’t work on medium shade of color. The regular flashlight setting is fine which is why I gave it three stars.

I have an enclosed litter box, and over time my cats will urinate on the inside walls (and sometimes, somehow the urine actually leaks outside of the box). Your nose can obviously detect this, but your eyes CAN'T!!! I was already using wipes to try to clean the box (in-between deep cleans), but as it turns out, I was actually missing quite a lot of the urine. Even a few small drops of urine can smell really bad, and wiping the entire box down just for that one drop is like finding a needle in a haystack.But with this flashlight, I can spot EXACTLY where that spot of urine is and clean it up quickly and easily, without wiping down the entire box and guessing. It will keep the box cleaner for longer, which is great for everyone -- for you because of the smell, and for your cats, because they will be way less likely to refuse using a dirty litter box. Would you want to use a toilet covered in urine?? I wouldn't either!!Other great things: It also doubles as a regular flashlight, and you can make the field of view large or small. It can be charged, or use AAA batteries, and it's very well-made. I'd give it more stars if I could... I really don't know how I've been scooping cat litter for over 20 years without this.Caution: If you have really old carpet, be forewarned that you will be REALLY grossed out to shine this flashlight on it, and see all the old stains...

I use this when cleaning a short-term rental to and to inspect for stains that might have been left by pets or people. I am am surprised at how well it works, especially with the glasses.Pros:- It has a single bright LED emitter. These work much better than lights with dozens of low-output LEDs.- Comes with glasses to help filter out the light you don't want to see.- It's not perfectly round so it doesn't roll when you set it down.- 2-in-1 lets you use it as a regular flashlight and a UV light.Cons:- The o-ring that seals the battery compartment broke while I unscrewing it the very first time to install the battery. It either got pinched or was not properly lubricated at the factory. The light still works fine, but is obviously no longer waterproof. That o-ring is just too thin to be durable.- Requires custom charger that uses a mini barrel connector. It should use a standard Micro-USB or USB-C port to charge so that you don't need (or lose) the custom charger/cable.
