this item was bought to replace the stainless £165 item we had over our heads for the last 12 years. i had bought a hand held shower head that showed a temperature when used powered by the water. i wanted something similar to replace the rain head we had installed all that time ago. i thought it was time to lighten things up a bit so looked at this and similar items. based on price and the ability to swap straight out head for head this item was chosen. it actually arrived two weeks ahead of the due date so i had it out of the box and inline filter fitted was installed whilst the wife food shopped. our previous item was a lot heavier with metal to metal and this item as expected by the price is plastic.i was pleasantly surprised by the finish and to be honest it doesnt look out of place with the rest of the bathroom. the previous head had silicone outlets which the water flowed through. these would get blocked due to the hardness of the water in our area, directing jets out of the shower enclosure or elsewhere. the new item is clear facing the user with the leds visable. the water cascades through molded plastic so we found it noisier than the previous head. that said, the leds light red, green or blue solid colours on broad range of temperature. it is therefore not able to set to specific temperatures. the stream of water from each outlet is larger than we have been used too but as a family we are happier and no one seems to notice the slightly louder noise when it operates. of course the led's add a bit of fun to the younger family members. this item gets our vote as being a well priced useful and fun thing to purchase.

The only thing this shower head has in common with stainless steel, is that the PLASTIC is the same colour! It's cheap and nasty. £38 for a plastic shower head? Keep your money and go somewhere else and get value for your money instead of getting your eyes ripped out. The lights work!!

we ordered the round and the square model and the square one was already a problem to install. I am experience with plumbing, but it was just poorly manufactured. The round one worked and we where delighted with the innovative colour display. We ordered despite the hefty price ticket a second round one, since it was at least installable. 8 months later the colour effects stopped and never worked again. Now the second round showered exploded, meaning the plastic parts separated with a loud bang and the head is broken for good. We have just moved house and needed the head changing on the rain shower - this was easy to fit and works a treat looks cool when the colours change and ideal for when the children have a shower to gauge the temperature would recommend to friends and family

Came with no introduction on assembly to guessed were the bits went works well but led lights constantly flash on and off. Its like have a disco in the shower

Figured out how to fit this by guessing what order the bits went but it doesn't light up which is the main reason I bought this. My old one was damaged so need to use this until I can buy another one but very poor surely these should be tested! Hassle having to go to post office etc! Should have listened to reviews!

A lovely final touch of 'bling' for your bathroom. Well priced and effective. Good in hard water areas as the holes are slightly bigger and don't fur up as quickly.

Can’t get this to seal properly, leaks all over the place, not good, can’t recommend.
